I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Let me begin by saying that I lived in Iran and grew up eating REAL Iranian food in Tehran. I've lived in the US since 1994 and go to every Persian restaurant that is near me and far, from the bay area, to LA, and even Florida. NONE of those restaurants come close to TRUE IRANIAN FOOD like at this restaurant. They even use real filet mignon for their barg skewers and cook them to juicy perfection, just like back home! Rice is the centerpiece of any Iranian meal and they have the best rice here as well. Some of the best Persian food I've had in America was in southern California, but none of those places come close to this one! I'm so happy and lucky to have discovered this gem in Cupertino. I wish there were more words in my vocabulary to describe just how impressed I was. The attention to detail showed by Shahram, Elahi and the rest of the staff was top notch and exceeded all expectations as well. From the plates, to the decor, to the hospitality, it was the best. I felt like I was a guest in their homes, maybe next time I'll take my shoes off to show them how much it feels like home being there! This is now the ONLY Persian restaurant me and my wife are ever going to, forget the rest! I'm recommending them to every single friend I have and every family member too. They also have a very neat and organized market section, with great prices on all items, many of which you won't find at other Persian markets. Quality, service and authenticity, those are the best words to describe this establishment. What more can you ask for? I guarantee Mr. Shahram will find a way to satisfy even the pickiest or most hard to please customer. He earned my respect and loyalty in 1 visit, this man knows what he is doing! I can't wait until the next...
Read more"Persian food for under $10 a person?! No way", I thought, coming across Rose while searching for a good lunch spot between me in SF and my friend in San Jose. And, well, ever a fan of tasty Persian (and sometimes, cheap food), I had to give it a shot.
I ended up getting an order of their barg kebabs, while my friend went with their koobideh, each of us adding on two roasted tomatoes on the side. While the flavor wasn't bad, and could have been easily made better with the yogurt or other sides they had on sale, the texture was, unfortunately, a little too dry and tough.
But hey, for less than $10, it's a decent, cheap fix. Also, don't make the same mistake we did: order at the central cashier area, not the food displays! And the pick up window is out the front entrance, around the corner to the left, and then at the end of that wall.
Accessibility Info
Venue - I can't speak for the rest of the market since I didn't wander about, but the food ordering area is definitely accessible. The stands where you get utensils or sides might be a bit of a squeeze or reach for some folks though. A handful of tables outside that are usable, but the kind with central posts that prevent wheelchairs from scooting all the way in.

Read moreThis was our second time dining at persian Kabob Mediterranean foods in cupertino california, I love foods from all over the world, and I'm kind of a food critic of my own. I can say by far this persian restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the Bay Area for its authentic persian Kebobs and persian Gourmet food. The taste and the quality of the food bring back a home made foods by my grandmother and family back home. I was very amazed by service, quality, design, friendliness, and how welcome they make you feel. There is no shortcut and no sacrifice in quality. Also, I love the atmosphere and the feeling you get to see an educated couple running this restaurant, I always love to support family build business. I definitely go back even more and do recommend this wonderful persian restaurant to all my friends and family and for those who's visiting and looking for a fabulous authentic persian kabob and food you won't regret and your visit will be a memorable time and real taste of persian food...
