Food was fantastic. The service not so much. The girl who showed us to our table and the lady who attended our table seemed less than happy to be there.. even though we were finished with our lunch the lady snatch the plates off our table right in the middle of a conversation with my friend. Perhaps she wanted us to leave and clear the table there were other tables open. Needless to say I did not leave a tip. Maybe they were both just having a bad day. We both noticed their bad attitude. My pork chops smiled more than they did.

Need a homemade meal without all the mess in your kitchen? Head your car to Norma’s in Caruth Plaza, right off Park and 75 in Dallas. And to top the fabulous meal, grab a generous slice of pie. I highly recommend the Coconut Cream pie. Should you be there at the right time, Norma’s heavily discounts their leftover pies some time before closing.

Caruth Plaza, home of TJ Maxx and Bed, Bath & Beyond. TJ Maxx is a great place to find really attractive clothes at a good price. They have everything from work out attire to designer clothes and handbags. Bed Bath & Beyond has everything you need for the home, from Kitchen tools and small appliances to sheets and towels and everything in between. It used to be home to Red Hot & Blue some of the best barbecue in Dallas, but that has moved to a new location. It also used to be home to Sports Authority but that has closed. But it's still...

The battery in my Honda's key fob was dying, so I went to Batteries+ for the first time. Wow. First, I've wasted much time and energy trying to find coin-type batteries in stock at Kroger and Walmart only to see empty shelves. No more. Ever. Batteries+ has every obscure battery I'll ever need.

Second, the guy was friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Within minutes he installed a new battery. Easy parking, no crowds, personal service and every battery imaginable.
