Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Dallas

The food was subpar and the ambiance left much too be desired. Reminded me of Taco Bell, but with less flavor or seasoning. The first sign for me was that NO ONE was there, like literally not one other customer! My sister, who lives in Dallas, assured me that the food was great, so I decided to give them a shot, against my better judgment. There were two guys working and both looked like they were from the Adams family, but the guy at the counter seemed nice enough. Anyway, I got nachos and a pitcher of Margarita, and my sister ordered what she said was her usual. As we made our way to a clean table, I noticed that the salsa/lime/condiment area was disgusting and needing to be cleaned and refreshed and the floor and most of the tables were quite yucky. We eventually found a table and sat sipping our drinks and waiting for our food. After about 10-15 minutes, I turned around and saw our food up at the counter. Who knows how long it had been sitting there. At this point, half of the chips were hard and stale and the other half was was soggy with sauce and meat. The ground beef was cold and flavorless. Even though I requested sour cream and guacamole, I had to go back to ask again because it was no where to be found. Because I was starving and didn't want to ruffle any feathers, I ate as much as I could stomach and finished my drink. -DRIVE THRU IS AWFUL! - they aleays say "i'll be right with you" , 10 mins later they fiinally take my order - when i finally pull up i notice 2 cars in front of me.. Young lady ask's me to pull up onfront of the window, WHY?? So we dont heat ya'll fighting with eachother. As i'm waiting in line a lady gets out of her car kindly knocks on the window & says "this is not my order" -- this is all in real time. Right now.-- ok it is now 20 mins after i first pulled up to the speaker and the two cars are still in front of me, no food yet and i'm hungry and tired. I HAVENT EVEN GOTTEN MY FOOD YET AND I AM OVER IT! 25 mis later- still... no food.. Ughhh. I'm sure they'll screw the order up like they ALWAYS DO!! I'll go home, look at my "togo" box and again say to myself "7-11 has pretty good sandwiches" i guess we'll just have to see... GET SOME MORE NIGHT STAFF TACO CABANA!! We have been going to Taco Cabana as our go to fast food for tacos and nachos but no more. Went in for National Nacho Day for nachos and used the coupon that was in the TC app. I ordered the Kickin' Nachos like we always do and cashier asked for coupon code. It was entered and came up as invalid. I asked why and she didn't know. She called manager over and we went through the same process...invalid....asked again why it was invalid when it was on their app. Manager said she didn't know. She was nice enough to honor the discount....or so I thought. When they started to fill my order the manager tells me that oh you ordered the Kickin nachos and the coupon was for small nachos. I don't know why she couldn't see that when the coupon was coming up invalid. I said sorry but i didn't see that on the coupon showing on app. I took my order to go and when I opened the box was sadly disappointed. Nachos were very unappetizing and looked nothing like they normally do. I don't know if she was mad that she gave me the discount or if the quality of service and product is poor at this particular location (it is the second time that service and food was sub par). Needless to say, I won't be going back to that location or...
