Duckworth Distillery — Attraction in Dallas

Flew in from Chicago and decided to hit up a local distillery. Was pleasantly surprised to find a vodka one. And even more surprised at how awesome the entire staff is 😉. Lee was welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and highly entertaining. He took the experience to whole new level. The only thing that was better than meeting Lee was tasting the Vodka. Sweet Mother of Mayberry this was early the best vodka I has ever had. Trust me, this boy knows his way around a bottle of spirits, or don't trust me that's cool, but do trust the fact these award winning vodkas have won more medals than Michael Phelps. They are not average vodka tonic genre. Oh no, these are the finest of sipping vodkas. Pour it neat or on the rocks. The originally is so dangerously smooth its like sipping liquid silk. The French Oak Barrel has a fantastic unique taste, similar to whiskey but kissed by French Oak. French Kissed if you will. And damn those French know how because this one is my favorite. The lovely Angel sharing this adventure with me favored the original but was intrigued by the bloody Mary potential of the Truffle vodka. A unique aroma a delightful taste. Made from the finest of truffles. What makes these vodkas so good? Is it the quality of small batch production? The pure cane sugar ? The 7 times distilling ? The oxygenated and high filtration process? The love and passion of the owner? Or the diamond filtration? That's right a diamond filtration for purity! I've never heard let alone seen anything like this. All I can tell you is this is THE VODKA I HAVE EVER HAD and wish I would have purchased more, but will for sure be stop anytime I in the area. My fiance and I accidentally came across Duckworth Distillery searching for Dallas distilleries online. After calling up and talking to Lee we decided to pay a visit and I am so glad we did! Duckworth sipping vodka is excellent - Very smooth and enjoyable. Lee and his wife are fantastic - very welcoming and open. My fiance and I felt like we knew Lee and his wife for years! I’ve been a huge fan of Duckworth and its creator for over 10 years (when it was Fuqua’s winery). I loved the award winning wine and eagerly awaited tasting their move to finer spirits.
