Golden Hour Salon — Attraction in Dallas

We finally took my daughter to get her hair cut by Stefani for the first time, and wow - I can see why my friend has been raving about her for so long! We hadn't done a "real" haircut in a few years, but with my daughter turning 18 and having senior pictures coming up plus her last year of school, we wanted something really special.

She originally had her heart set on a wolf/mullet style, but since she already has a side shave, Stefani explained how some cuts might not work the same way on her. What I loved most was how Stefani took the time to really talk with her - probably 20-30 minutes just discussing different options and why certain styles might or might not be the best choice. She was so thoughtful and tactful about it, clearly didn't want my daughter to end up with something she'd regret, but she also wanted to make sure she got something fun that she'd absolutely love.

The end result? My daughter looks like the coolest, hippest rockstar ever and I'm honestly so jealous! Stefani did this amazing layered cut with razor work that just fits her face perfectly. She even added bangs, which was totally new for her, and they look incredible on her.

The best part though is how low maintenance it is - which is exactly what she needs! This girl spends forever on her outfits, so the last thing she needs is to have to spend hours doing her hair too. I can actually curl it into beach waves and it lasts all week without washing or even touching it up!

Golden Hour Salon is in this cute little pocket of Dallas that feels like it's going to be a really up and coming area. The salon itself is adorable, and all the other stylists were complimenting her and making her feel so special the whole time. Super happy with the service and we'll definitely be going back to Stefani!

I just left Stefani and really there are no words. I started off the day with tears and having a hard time breathing because postpartum is still wreaking havoc on my hair and I left beaming with a flutter in my heart. From our first communication I knew she was special. The time she spent over text to figure out what I needed even before I stepped foot into her salon was incredible and instantly showed not only her deep care but her professionalism and extreme knowledge. I only regret not finding her sooner. And my appointment proved all that I had deduced. Knowledgeable beyond, caring, truly interested in hearing me and meeting my needs, talented, encouraging, and takes extreme pride in her work.I swear I could go on. Thank you Stefani. I can’t say that I won’t have a freak out or two as I wait out this crazy hair stage but will take comfort in knowing that I have you in my corner as I practice...

Stefani is the only person I let touch my hair. I have traveled to sit in her chair! She is a master of her craft and has been keeping me blonde for a decade.
