Cedars Village Market — Restaurant in Dallas

I stay in the area Downtown and upon being a new gas station/cafe, I just knew I had to check it out one day soon. That one day soon happened Monday evening. Before visiting a friends house around the corner, I decided to go in for some snacks. Not only did i leave with snacks, I left with a big smile, full of laughter, and one of the best burgers around! Kept it simple with just a double cheeseburger with ketchup and onions only and it was fantastic! A huge shoutout to Chef Shy! You walk in feeling like a guest, meet Chef if you’re ordering hot food to go, and you leave feeling like you’ve known him and been friends for quite sometime. His customer service is outstanding! Very charismatic, knowledgeable of the menu, he help created by the way, vibrant spirit that’s full of energy, passion, fire and determination. You can hear, see, and feel the love for what he does and has been able to accomplish if you really take the time to converse as your meal is being prepared. Overall I love this local store, it is nice and has a beautiful modern design, definitely something this developing area needed.

They finally opened a grocery store upstairs but it’s not 24/7 like the rest of the store. What’s the point of having 50 cameras in the building, a security guard, and 2 cashiers at night on payroll and still close down the grocery store upstairs? I can ask a cashier to bring me something from the upstairs to purchase but I can’t go there myself, grab it and check out downstairs at the register? It makes no sense, open it up 24/7 please!

Also most groceries upstairs are way more expensive than any local Walmart or Kroger, before they opened a worker told me every item would be 10 cents more expensive than Walmart, but everything is almost double the price. I can understand if the store was 24/7 like Walgreens, but as it is I’d rather go down the street to Aldi and shop 2 times cheaper.

stopped by here yesterday with my family the downstair staff was amazing and very helpful although the upstairs worker was very rude as we had gone upsatirs the worker downstairs informed us of the ice cream shop we went the worker upstairs was on her phone we wanted to check up a few things so we proceeded ro bring them downstairs and charged down stairs as the price of what i purchased was good my son went back up fir another pack it was already charger and the person upstairs was really rude did not let my son get the candy that wad already payed for so i had to walk back up and down about 3 times it was very disappointing as my things were payed for both cashiers went and offered to bring it down till one cashier finally came back and brough at the point we were there for about 10-15 minutes tryna get a candy we purchased very unproffesional and rude of the upstair worker we returned are stuff and got...
