Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience cause of 3 cashiers in 1 day. Im an instacart shopper. The instacart card declined so i asked the cashier to suspend it while i call the card. She just stared @ me till i was confused i thought she was about to have a stroke. She eventually did it. When I come back. I had to get back in line. Even tho my stuff was already bagged up. All they had to do was scan the receipt. But another cashier wouldnt she said ppl have been waiting in line. But they wouldve waited the same amount as if my card wouldve went through the first time. Anyway i got in line. Any question i had the cashier, a different one,, also had near stroke symptoms im guessing cause she just stared @ me also. I asked her to get the receipt for my order while i pulled up the thing i needed to finish the purchase cause she cared about her line so much. Nope. She just stared some more. Doing nothing to help make the transaction go by faster. lol!! Im a kind person sometimes too kind so their ugly attitude was uncalled for. Then my card declined again. I stepped away again. When i came back 5 minutes later. She wanted me to get back in line when all she had to do was scan a reciept. & let me pay. I could have not stepped away at all & not lose my spot if i knew this was the case. Understanding time you would know that whether i had 1 transaction or 3 as an instacart shopper the line wouldve had to wait for my turn to be over either way. I waited in line for a 3rd time!! Then when we finished that transaction i had 3 other items for a seperate transaction. She proceeded to ring the person behind me up while telling me "o i forgot about this other stuff, youre gona have to get back in line." Thats when i raised my voice cause i swear a stroke was blocking her reasoning. I told her no that its still my turn & I have a seperate transaction. But she proceeded to scan the next persons items. I was livid in shock. The lady @ the next register rang me up even tho she had a line also & looked confused as to why my cashier didnt finish with me. I was very confused as well. She was rude petty & ghetto. She had long nasty nails & short choppy greasy hair. Shorter than shoulder length. & looks pregnant. Dont go to her line. I would ask her questions politely & literally she would just stare at meš¤Æš¤Æ. She wasted so much time & energy i had to make a review. It was unbelievable. I should have got a manager to tell her something right then & there. I CANNOT wait till grocery stores dont need ghetto ppl to work for those wages. Can we get an amazon store in dallas already!!! Ive always shopped tom thumb for myself. The north field one is lovely. They get rid of ppl like this & i guess they all go to this kroger to work. Insta cart needs to partner with more tom thumb less Kroger. TT has better prices & quality in food & people 100%% Kroger...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot a bad store but customer service is pretty awful. I am a Shipt shopper and I dread getting orders from this store. The frozen section is always sparse and the people who check me out are typically very unfriendly and rude (today for instance, the cashier hassled me because I didn't bring a pen to fill out the tax exempt formāif you want me to fill out the form provide a pen just like any other business would do...doctors office, dentist, etc...).
I wouldn't be writing this review if it was a one-time affair but almost half of my experience at this Kroger has been less than sub-par. Also, one thing I never understand is that on the weekends they only have 1-2 checkout lines available (this is East Dallas not your small country town). A 10-20 minute (literally 4-7 carts deep) wait to checkout should not be normal at grocery store but it is for this Kroger.
If management reads this I would make a few adjustments:
1.) Have more people work the register lanes over the weekends in particular because people who do Shipt and Instacart cannot use the self-checkout. Weekends are also the time when Shipt and Instacart platforms are at their busiest as people are preparing their meals for the week. Thus, more checkout lanes need to be opened to accommodate the flow.
2.) Buy some pens for your cashiers and attach them with strings so no one is able to take them (Clipboard + pen + string = problem solved). Even better, make the tax exempt form electronic, much like a barcode or something (Target and many other stores offer this feature).
3.) Frozen section is a mess, especially the frozen veggies. Please put someone over their to organize it for the sake of your customers and people like me who delivery groceries as a job. I hate having to tell the costumer that the frozen veggies they desires is not there or because I simply cannot find them amongst the rubble.
4.) Maybe have some classes on customer service for your cashiers/employees. Simple things like saying "hi, how are you" or "have a great day, thanks for shopping!" Side note, there have been times where the cashier checking me out has headphones in, like what?! How is that even allowed in a face-to-face interaction job?!?
Please tweak these things for the sake of your customers and...
