I visited the store on October 1, 2025, to purchase two shirts priced at $19.99 each. When I got home, I realized that I could not fit them. On October 4, 2025, at approximately 5:35 PM, I returned to the store with the original receipt and the shirts, both with tags PRESENT!!, to request a return.
Unfortunately, my experience during this visit was extremely disappointing. The cashier’s attitude was rude and dismissive. She said she needed to “verify” the items, speaking to me in a tone that made me feel as though I was doing something dishonest. She then went to another cashier, who looked at me in a judgmental manner, and they eventually called over the manager. The manager repeated the same statement about “verifying” the items. I explained that I had purchased the shirts just two days earlier and that she could check the store’s security footage to confirm. The manager told me, “It’s not that deep,” but to me, it absolutely was. The entire interaction made me feel disrespected, profiled, and unwelcome—especially considering that the staff members involved were of a different race than me.
No customer should ever feel like they are being accused of stealing or “running a trick” simply for making a legitimate return. I am a loyal shopper at this location and a working professional who values honesty and integrity. I expect to be treated with respect and dignity, just like any other customer. Because of this experience, I am giving this store an 1 rating, to bring serious attention to the lack of professionalism and cultural sensitivity displayed by the front-end staff on October 4, 2025. I strongly recommend that the team members working that evening, including the manager on duty, undergo mandatory training in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) to ensure they understand how to interact appropriately and respectfully with people of all backgrounds. No one should ever leave a store feeling unsafe, disrespected, or profiled. I hope this feedback leads to meaningful change so other customers don’t have to experience the same...
Read moreI go to this Marshall’s once a week. I was in there last week and got a couple of true religion shirts and paid 19.99 each for them. I went back today and they had more true religion shirts and so I picked one up. Then went to cashier, the tag said it was 19.99 I went to cash out and she got a price check from the manager and she said the price tag shows 19.99 but informed me the price was 25.99. I was not paying for shirt that has a hole in it and the shirt I had one today that I bought a week ago for 19.99. Then she told me that it was the wrong price tag. I still can’t believe that she said that. I would never go back to that location over this. I felt like she was accusing me of changing...
Read moreThis is the new Marshalls at what they're calling High Point, the corner of Northwest Highway and Abrams. There is a big sign at the corner so you can't miss it. There is a large parking lot with plenty of spaces and wheelchair accessibility. The store is spacious and clean and has a large friendly staff. It can still get crowded and slow at checkout during peak hours. There are a variety of fashions, including office wear, workout wear and date night apparel. There are also plenty of shoes and accessories, men's and children's clothing, and of course housewares. As with all Marshalls the...
