My visit to Reunion Tower was a cool experience from start to finish. The highlight was definitely the swift elevator ride to the top, which lasted just over a minute but offered stunning views of Dallas and its surroundings. As the elevator ascended, I couldn't help but marvel at the beautiful cityscape unfolding before me.
Upon reaching the top, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that visitors receive complimentary pictures taken at the bottom of the tower. By scanning a kiosk at the observation deck, these photos were promptly sent to my email free of charge, capturing the excitement of the moment.
The 360-degree viewing area at the top allowed me to walk around and fully appreciate the panoramic views of Dallas. It was incredible to see the city from such a height, taking in landmarks like the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the sprawling Texan landscape stretching into the distance.
Inside the tower, interactive informational videos provided additional insights into the history and culture of Dallas. These engaging displays enhanced my visit, offering context and enriching my understanding of the city below.
What made my experience even better was the value offered by the GetOutPass for the Dallas Fort Worth area, which includes admission to Reunion Tower and a host of other attractions. This pass not only made planning easier but also allowed me to explore more of what Dallas has to offer.
In conclusion, Reunion Tower is more than just an observation deck; it's a gateway to experiencing Dallas from a new perspective. Whether you're a local or a visitor, the tower's combination of breathtaking views, interactive experiences, and added value through passes like GetOutPass makes it a must-visit...
Read moreGetting here was quite an adventure but definitely worth it. We found parking and made our way over to the tower entrance using our Google maps because there were no signs to adequately show us where to go. We thought we were going into a parking garage and it looked really shady but some other confused people were walking with us and once we went in we started seeing murals and signs pointing us the right way.
The gift shop was very cute but expensive as they tend to be and of course we expected. Line was long first thing in the morning and it took us longer because we had to buy tickets too. I would recommend buying tickets in advance if possible. Also plan on paying for parking. We parked in the lots south of the tower and walked to it. The walk wasn’t bad at all.
Once we got through the line and had our photos taken we got in another line for the elevator. We were lucky to get to be first on the elevator and get a nice spot in front so we could see the view on the way up. The guide inside told us lots of facts and answered questions.
Once we got to the top it was very cool! The viewfinders are free to use and there’s lots of information posted about the history of the area and the places you are looking at. We stayed for about 45 minutes looking at the city then headed back down.
We didn’t go to the restaurant because it was early morning and they weren’t open.
The restrooms were large open and clean. It felt like a very safe area.
There were some little coffee and sandwich shops in the hotel area to eat at as well.
Lots of photo opportunities and murals on walls to get pictures of if you walk around and look.
All in all it was a great experience and we will...
