My 1 star rating is solely based on the food and service. The offerings on the menu are extraordinarily limited. There were 7 people at my table and every single plate came served with almost raw meat. ALL of the food was chilled/cold! The ācookā (intended) might have taken hurried short-cuts since the place was full. While two of my table mates sent their food back to be re-cooked, I attempted to not cause the busy waiter any headaches and tried to eat my shaved ribeye sandwich. It was so gross that I ended up nibbling on the super crunchy (tooth breaking) garlic bread that encased the bloody meat blob. The broccoli was seriously burnt⦠not charred⦠burnt like the remnants of an old-timey barbecueās left over coal briquettes. The only edible part to my joke of a meal⦠the truffled fries. Seriously⦠fries! $20 French fries that have a smattering of Parmesan flakes and a teeny trinket of black truffle sauce. Whew, saved from starvation by freaking ice cold French fries at a medium-high dollar restaurant!!
Another gripe: my wine choice was out of stock. I was offered an equivalent. I took the waiter at his word that my substitute he suggested was in the same price range⦠he told me, without my asking. My $25 wine by the glass ended up being $40⦠and I had two, unknowingly aware. That made me mad, the up-selling of cheap wine!
The dining setting of this restaurant is kind of cramped. You have a 1 hour and 30 minute time limit once seated, regardless of how long it takes your waiter and food to arrive. The surrounding lighting and water fountain is nice. Unfortunately, the weak menu, lack of alcohol, time requirements and the horrendously disgusting food will have me never returning. This place is a joke given that there are so many fine dining choices in Dallas that believe in quality food and service to its customers. The people claiming that this establishment is other than mediocre must have completely different expectations on what constitutes as edible than I do. This...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wish I could apply negative stars and file a formal complaint... I hope for the sake of RH reputation and management that they truly READ these reviews. My husband and I are building a new home, we have a lot of furniture we already have but need to furnish a little over 6K more sq feet. I thought it was my imagination, but I think because we are a black/brown couple, we were watched (but not helped), the moment we walked in. However an older white couple were seated at a desk (no they didnāt have an āappointmentā, because they were greeted just before us and were not told ALL the things we were about ālimiting touchā of items. I had about $57K worth of furniture (indoor and out), in my online basket - but wanted to check some of the fabric in person and get a feel for size of certain items. We came with masks, disinfected our hands before they even moved out of the doorway (they didnāt do this w/another couple tht walked in before us)! I understand we need to take extra precautions- but we were literally the ONLY customers in the showroom... I have never been treated with so much disrespect and obvious, over the top precautions of the employees. I felt like we were being watched like criminals - then if we stepped close to an item (w/out touching) - an employee was standing behind us to wipe and spray any space we breathed in! The behavior and treatment we received was absolutely disgusting! No one helped us - we were just told to ālimit our touchingā, um itās furniture, we HAVE to sit and try it out! I felt like a toddler and had my hands in my pockets to āavoidā contact - we ultimately left because we were being hounded by a minimum of 3 employees to ādisinfectā behind us, yet no one helped. We will NEVER buy a single item from RH ever!!! There are plenty of quality furniture stores online and in person - do NOT shop at such a pretentious, disrespectful place! YOU just lost $60K in sales in ONE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL!!!.Iām very dissatisfied the they handle my purchase of my chandelier. In September 2017 purchase a bed, dinning table and chandelier at the Dallas location. Alyssa Porter was my sales rep. At the time of of purchase I stated to her that I would need the chandelier modified to accommodate my 20 ft celing. She then started that the vendor would send replacement cord to adjust the height. Well a month went by and no replacement cords. I called to follow up and and they tell me that they havenāt heard from the vendor. I follow up with her about every week for the next two month with no call backs and untimely responses and finally first week of December she tells that the cords are shipping. Great!!! Well I get my shipping and to my surprise itās only one cord(chandelier requires 10) Wow. I call customer service and they tell me that they are going to look into it and tell me that they will not be able to do anything about it. I am very disappointed with Alyssa for telling incorrect information at the purchase. Customer service doesnāt follow up promptly like they say they will. I will be returning everything I purchase from here and I wonāt be shopping here anymore.BEWARE OF WHAT THEY PROMISE YOU. MOST LIKELY THEY WILL...
