Village At Bachman Lake — Attraction in Dallas

A "used-to-be-decent" Walmart once existed in this peaceful corner of the Bachman Lake area. Sad to say no longer.

UPDATE as of July 2022: I've taken to simply picking my Walmart orders up instead of fighting for parking in the shade and trekking all over the store.

I've dropped my rating down by two stars. This is due to a combination of things. There has been a noticable reduction in the courtesy of the shoppers who frequent this location—this is one problem.

And although we've been told over and OVER and O V E R that the U.S. economy is tanking, inflation is skyrocketing, and there are "supply chain" and transportation issues, etc., I have the gut feeling Walmart is taking advantage of this brou-haha and price-gouging above and beyond inflation-induced cost hikes—jacking prices up higher than would be warranted to cover any increases Walmart's suppliers may be passing on. Walmart is just that slimy, and for the sole purpose of goosing additional profits from those who can least afford their corporate greed.

I am angry at Walmart for unreasonably ratcheting up the prices of essential staples.

I'm sorry, but whose FAULT is it that the economy is in the commode? Yours? Mine? Did YOU have a hand in making fiscal and monetary policy in the last 15 years? No? Me neither. Walmart is a GARGANTUAN global corporation. What are the odds Walmart had more of a hand in shaping economic policies than you or me?

I'd say just a LITTLE BIT! 😆

Walmart, and other corporate big players have long since captured lawmakers, et al. It was these big players AND our government that made whatever idiotic decisions that drove our economy into a brick wall. But WE are letting them make US pay the literal consequences?

Something is wrong with this picture.

Sorry for twisting this review of the Walmart on Webb Chapel into a political rant. Suffice it to say, Walmart, in general, loses at least two stars across the board—and that loss of respect extends from me to the Webb Chapel Walmart next to Bachman Lake. ...

I visit the HR and block the individual was not as helpful as intended from the service I received to have an appointment to go there she spoke with me as dog that I was very biased and I didn't have no knowledge of what I needed and then recommend much help as what I expected I got more assistance from the adviser from the number I dialed the 800 number to walk me through brace at 3 and got things done I was not pleased with her at at 2 after I was able to get what I need on right in front of their in the office in front of her presents...

I love this place because it has bachman lake, Sam's club, walmart, Starbucks, Sam's gas station and chipotle all in one place. Some Mexican restaurants and also threading salon/parlor are available. If you are visiting bachman lake, just grab a coffee from Starbucks and a burrito from chipotle. And you can also complete your grocery at the end of the day from there along with gas refill...
