I was actually able to reach a human being and communicate and get information in a straightforward manner (I was also able to text with the shop back and forth, which is really convenient for someone who is otherwise on the phone all day). They had an opening that wasn't too far out and their tech came on time. He was professional but down to earth and got right to work. He educated me without being condescending, he listened to my concerns and my ideas, and he worked the problem until he had a high degree of confidence in his diagnosis and an effective way forward. He easily could have performed a more extensive repair and charged me more, but was able to isolate the issue to a faulty bracket that was somehow interfering with the basic operation of the dishwasher door in just the wrong way so as to be the ultimate root of all our problems. He seems to take pride in his craft (I wound up asking him about how he learned his trade and we had a nice chat about how he got into it and what his training and experience have been like; it was evident he has a genuine interest in his work—I found myself interested in it by that point, to be honest). He didn't take any payment until he had come back with the replacement part, installed it, and successfully tested everything to my satisfaction. He looked me in the eye and shook my hand. I asked for my ice maker to be looked at and to see why the water dispenser on my fridge ‘didn’t seem to be holding its prime’, water would take 15 seconds to come out when you put your cup there. Well the office lady forgot to put the note for the tech about the water dispenser. When the tech called me to say he fixed the ice maker, I asked about the water dispenser and he said he didn’t have a note about that but he would take a look quick. He didn’t find anything but said it might be my aftermarket filter. Well long story short, the water dispenser line had a leak in it, turns out a month later it had been leaking the whole time and now I have to replace all the flooring...
Read moreI had Lee's come out to service my washer due to error codes. They came out and reset it....although the problem persisted. I called them back. They were right back out within a few days. Found the problem that was the drain pump. Brennan made a call to Midway appliance and they did have the part available. I live in Athol....he drove immediately into CDA and got the part, then drove all the way back to my house installed it, put everything back together and only charged me for the price of the part.
