I bought a pair of 17" bed bars. For my 17 Tacoma. package arrived fast, packing was wrapped up great no damage or scratches. Very lightweight so no real big extra weight on the bed. , but built like it can hold whatever you want up there. Really reasonable price. Like that they can be install without drilling in the bed. It uses the track system for the Toyota bed rails. Was bare metal which was ok. Was able to paint to match the truck. I mainly use them for my kayaks. The bed bars can be placed anywhere from front to back or in the middle. I can easily access my toolbox with them inplace with the kayaks on. Also the 17" bars go high enough to clear the roof allowing me to put anything long up on top. Prenty of room to add camping gear, without worrying about hitting your head. Was looking for a great bed rack option for my truck that would not break the bank and I found Heavy Metal Off-road. When I called I left a quick voicemail and immediately got a call back from the owner. He went over the details of all his products and answered my questions. I was a little worried about when it would get delivered and he even went out of his way to ship it early. Tim Definitely cares for his customer's and it SHOWS. I will definitely be back again to add to my rack. If you want deck out your overland build, this is the guy to go to!

UPDATE: Ended up ordering the anti-theft Nut and bolt system for my setup. Instal was easy and Tim’s customer service was top notch as always.

A great friend of mine referred Tim to do a body mount chop BMC on my 2020 4Runner. Tim responded to my text right away and gave me a very reasonable price for it so I pulled the trigger and check him out. When I met Tim in person I was surprised that he is not just a very knowledgeable and professional person but a good person as well he made sure I was doing alright all the time during the waiting period and during the service.
