I bought a shotgun and had it transferred through them without any problems(even though I lived in Texas with an out of state ID) so then I ordered a lower to be transferred through them since my SC Drivers license wasn't an issue, so on that transaction all of the sudden there's an issue with the ID turns out that is a big no no FFL dealers , so the dude freaks out "cause they can get shut down and thrown in jail for that" then says I can't let you have your lower until you are able to provide a TX ID , then years later I'm finally able to get the ID taken care of only for them to have stolen my merchandise. So not only did they violate the gun control act by transferring the shotgun to me they're also Dicks about it.....If an FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer transfers a firearm to someone with an ID showing a different address than the one they provided, it could lead to serious legal trouble. The dealer is required to verify the buyer's state of residence, and using an incorrect address can violate federal and state laws. This could result in the dealer facing penalties, including fines or even revocation of their license. Here's why it's a problem and what could happen: Federal Law: Federal law requires FFLs to verify the buyer's state of residence before transferring a firearm. Using an ID with an incorrect address makes this verification impossible and violates regulations. State Law: Many states also have laws regarding firearm transfers, and some require proof of residency. Using an ID with a different address could also violate these state laws. Potential Penalties: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) (ATF) can impose penalties for such violations, including fines, and may revoke the FFL's license. Criminal Liability: If the buyer uses the firearm for illegal activities, the dealer could face criminal charges as well, depending on the circumstances, according to Newman & Allen. In short, an FFL dealer should never transfer a firearm if the buyer's ID does not match their stated address and residence. It's crucial to follow all regulations and verify the buyer's information carefully to avoid legal issues. In short save it for the ATF, A man would've honored their word or the word of their employee A man would never run a shady ffl.... yall...
Read moreAttention: Read this review. I absolutely do not recommend this place as an FFL to ship a gun purchased online and pick it up there. I bought two guns and there were no problems: I presented my ID and LTC, completed the paperwork process, and picked them up right away, the same day. Yesterday, a third gun arrived on Monday. I went the next day, Tuesday, and they told me I couldn't pick it up because I had to wait 24 hours. This is Texas, not California's BS, where you have to wait days to pick up a gun after purchasing it. Now, because of my work schedule, I have to wait a whole damn week to have the opportunity to return to that place and pick up my gun. It's ridiculous and incomprehensible, given that I picked up the first two on the same day. They wasted my time and gas going there for nothing. I will not use this place as...
