Deceptive games that tell your child they won (number 6 lit up flashing green when my daughter won… when you lose it flashes red. I know from watching the kids play and lose a billion times). A friend had this happen (game said he won but prize didn’t dispense) and staff gave him the prize but when it happened again a few times after and my daughter won prize 6 (lit up green flashing she won number 6) staff would not honor my daughter’s win even though it’s right there on their tapes. Very dishonest when there is video evidence showing she won it. I was told that they’ve never seen this game win twice in a day, most of the time it doesn’t even win once in a week. So there you have it … don’t expect your kids to receive any prizes on this game even if they legitimately win with video proof…and expect less than once a week odds of winning. Perhaps their game is malfunctioning but the right thing to do in that case is give the child the item they won and put the game out of order. Expect disappointed children and unhelpful staff. As a side note the climbing wall attendant was incredibly rude to both my children and my friend’s children, and multiple games deducted credits without functioning properly. After spending hundreds of dollars here on my daughter’s birthday party today I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of customer service. edit to respond to the establishment’s response below The picture I posted is just a picture to show the game in question, it’s not from when my daughter won. Yes, a staff member checked the game with me present and he lost several times in a row (red) not the green win screen that my daughter got. My friend’s son had the same winning screen she had and when they reviewed the tape they opened the machine up and let him have the prize but when my daughter won a few minutes later (same winning screen) they reviewed tapes again and I was told they “can’t just keep opening the machine up” . When we went to check the machine there was a strange code showing on the pinpad and the staff member told me “see, it’s malfunctioning”. I’m sure it was malfunctioning but that doesn’t change the fact that they are telling different customers different things and clearly the game is rigged to lose. The situation was handled poorly. I am not usually one to complain and I could not care less about a cheap prize speaker but my kids were here for a birthday experience and this caused a lot of upset on what was supposed to be...

I recently visited Xtreme Play Adrenaline Park in Danbury, CT, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I arrived with my elderly, physically disabled mother, only to find that the building had no visible signage for an ADA-compliant entrance. The only ramp available led to a locked second-floor exterior door, leaving us no choice but to carefully navigate the steps to the front entrance.
This was an incredibly risky situation--my mother nearly fell climbing those steps. If she had been injured, the consequences could have been devastating.
When I reached the front desk, I spoke with the assistant manager to share what had just happened. Instead of showing any concern for my mother's well-being, he was immediately argumentative and belligerent. He didn't even ask if she was okay.
Expecting a more professional response, I asked to speak to the general manager. Unfortunately, this interaction was even worse. While the GM initially checked on my mother, the conversation quickly took a turn for the worse. I expressed my concerns about the lack of ADA-compliant signage and the assistant manager's behavior. Instead of addressing these serious issues, the GM informed me that he was a former law enforcement officer (completely irrelevant) and then proceeded to dismiss my request to be checked in by someone other than the assistant manager.
When I asked if he would at least oversee his employee's behavior, he escalated the situation further and told me to leave the premises. To make matters worse, he followed my mother, children, and me out of the building while making insulting and nasty comments--all in front of my kids and other guests.
This was beyond unprofessional--it was outright hostile. The lack of ADA compliance, the dangerous conditions for disabled individuals, and the appalling behavior of the staff (particularly the management) are unacceptable.
I strongly urge anyone considering this business to think twice, especially if you are traveling with elderly or disabled family members. No one should have to endure this kind...
Read moreWent here Saturday night and had a great time. Not far from the highway, lots of parking. Most of the staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. A few either hated their jobs, or just wanted to go home on a Saturday night. The building was very clean inside. This seems to be primarily for young kids and teenagers. There are many things adults can enjoy also. The pricing for everything seemed fair. I am very cheap, however I thought they were reasonable. Bundle deals available if you are playing a few different games. They have laser tag, ropes course, virtual reality, video games, bumper cars, café, etc.
The best thing we did was laser tag. It had New York City post apocalyptic theme, or New York City from the 70s. Couldn’t tell much of a difference, I don’t really think there is. We played with four people. I think a group of six or eight would be the most. They say you can fit more, but it would be crowded in the room constantly running into people. For four people, it was very spacious. Lots of hidden corners and maze like walls. A few props to hide behind. Seven minutes in the room per game. For the price, I think it’s a deal.
We also did the VR room. Up to four people can play at a time in the simulation. This is my first time doing it, and it was a very fun and different experience. They had multiple scenarios you could choose from wild West, pirates, military, zombies, etc. We almost changed our mind a few times, but settled on zombies. Everything is explained to you before you get in. Helpful hint, once you put on the shoes, be careful where you step in the pod. Until you’re locked in, it’s a possibility that you could fall. I will not elaborate on that any further. You get seven minutes, but it flies by very quickly. My first time I had trouble getting used to how it worked. I will enjoy it a lot more when I go back the next time. Had a great time here. Xtreme is great for birthday parties, date night, day out with the kids, or just to get out of the house...
