Decent place to play with your dogs. Water is clean. Cons; their hours are all over. Short sessions. They've raised their rates to $7.50. If you utilize the entire 2 hours, or 3 hours on Sunday, it's arguable whether or not the rate increase is justified. I assume this is Bidenomics at play. I stopped going due to the rate increase as well as staff rudeness (one person). Snyder is free and TY is $1.50. With the exception of Sunday. Sunday is 3-6pm. 3 hours is fair, in my humble opinion. Last but certainly not least, as a long time customer, as breifly touched on above, the largest reason outside of rate increase is the fact that they have one of the most most rude employees i've seen in nearly any establishment. The older gentleman is great. I cant say much about the lady, but the small amount of interactions ive had with her, shes been sweet. I won't name any names. Anyone who has gone for a few times know exactly whonthis person is. Everyone complains, but understandably so, very few want to say anything. I don't mind. I think people should be called out. Just as myself. If I'm in the wrong, I need to be called out. This way I can correct it. Because my dog absolutely loves swimming, I will continue to go, but on Sundays only. Talking with other dog owners at Snyder and various parks, many people share...
Read moreSeveral of us used to spend our money every week going to this place with our dogs, sometimes several times a week. Our pups loved to chase their motorized water toy and it became such an awesome pack effort for all the dogs, both big and small!
Unfortunately when Sally who runs the business (apparently from out of town) found out about this fun activity many dogs were joining us to do, she claimed that Dania Beach doesn't allow motorized dog toys and was extremely rude about it. We later found that to be a lie and it certainly wasn't written on her forbidden things to do list, which is displayed on the premises. However, that was her excuse to deny our pups the fun and she very rudely suggested we go elsewhere.
We'll, that's what we did and never went back. Nobody wants to give business to someone who absolutely has no customer service skills and wouldn't even hear the customer's side.
Fortunately there are plenty of other locations to go to for water fun with pups. We even discovered a private spring lake thru a friend who lives by that lake, and it's even closer to us! Thanks to Sally it worked better for all of us. Now I can take my other dog to swim too and it doesn't cost me $$$! ...sorry for Sally for being such a horrible business owner, not wanting to include...
Read moreI previously read reviews of performance pups inc. and saw a complaint posted of Sally who had sold twice the same private session to two parties. When the issue was brought to her, she was rude and demanded that the original customer needed to give up their second hour to the person who booked the same time slot later. The first party had planned to celebrate their pup's birthday with friends for 2 hours. Cutting the time paid for was not fair nor feasible.
While we usually ignore bad reviews, we have since experienced the same horrible customer service by Sally who is behind the performance pups inc. She clearly doesn't care for customers point of view and only seems to care for profits. Not a good business plan long term, reputation goes before name.
Obviously we are taking our dollars elsewhere. Thankfully we have more choices in this area to take our pups to enjoy water activities with their pup friends.
Definitely NOT recommending this place as long as Sally is bringing the place...
