Since I moved to Broward County, I have always come to this restaurant. I couldn't understand the lack of customer service by placing a young girl who doesn't know what customer service is, especially for regular customers like us who have been going to the restaurant for 3 years since we moved to live in Pembroke Isles.
Today was the worst day of my life at this restaurant. My experience with my wife was simply incredibly disrespectful on the part of the young supervisor named Claudia.
At the beginning of our visit, I ordered a glass of wine for $14. When the glass arrived, it had no more than three fingers of red wine. I told the supervisor after asking the waitress to call her, and she told me that it was a corporate mandate and that she couldn’t do anything. I sent the glass back, and the young lady in question only showed arrogance.
We waited for the meat as usual, and only after 13 minutes of waiting, a young man brought us chicken. I said no to the chicken, and my wife had already taken a salad before they started serving and offering all types of meat cuts in the style they do in Brazil.
My surprise was that the young lady did nothing for us despite telling the waitress that we were regular customers. I was so upset that I told the last waiter who served us the chicken that I definitely didn't want anything else, and the meat never arrived.
Immediately, I called the waitress and asked for the bill. Miss Claudia, in a show of total arrogance, showed the minimum courtesy towards my wife. My wife went and complained about the lack of manners, and this 20-26-year-old young woman was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She charged us for a poorly served salad, a poorly served wine, and I, without eating anything, only three pieces of tomato and a piece of cheese bread, valued at $124.98 on my platinum American Express card. I must point out that I am a businessman with over 26 years of managing distributions in more than 30 countries with 19 employees.
The level of disrespect from Miss Claudia towards me is inadmissible; I am 56 years old and could be her father. She did not show the slightest courtesy to me or my wife.
I want to point out that I will send a direct letter on Monday, instructing my employees to report this situation to the restaurant. I will never return to this place in my life.
This young woman urgently needs to take a customer service course and learn to manage situations. I do not understand how a restaurant like Rodizio Grill hires people who do not have the slightest sense of belonging to the restaurant.
I have been a Platinum American Express customer since 1999 and will report this case on social media. I will dispute the charge with American Express. I am a customer who spends more than $500k a year and will not allow anyone to disrespect me for a service I am paying for.
Thank you, my wife and I went to the restaurant next door, Saito, where the managers were totally professional, and we had a good time. We ate with a Jamaican family and a couple of women from the Dominican Republic, and we had a wonderful evening at the Japanese restaurant, paying $117 plus tip. I paid more at Rodizio for not eating, and Claudia allowed them to serve me half a glass of wine, according to her, due to corporate management justifications. I drank two bottles of sake at the Japanese restaurant and went home!
Respond to people who have a sense of belonging. I do not recommend the restaurant if they have Claudia as a supervisor
On the other hand, it is obvious that the managers are not only failing to do their job in handling situations within the restaurant, but they are also violating cleaning safety codes with grease-covered floors.
According to Section 6-501.12 of the FDA Food Code and Chapter 23 of the Broward County Code, food establishments are required to keep their floors clean to prevent accidents and ensure a hygienic environment. The current condition of the floor at [ Rodizzio Grill ] clearly violates these...
Read moreI would recommend FOGO De choa number one and second TEXAS de Brazil anytime .Great quality of food and service starts for the entrance to exit. They cost more but it worth it. I came to Rodizio hungry and honestly I left hungry I spend all that money for meat that was chewy, not quality or flavourful. The churasco, sweet chicken was ok. I was disappointed that I was even able to enjoy the meat if it wasn't fatty it was not the best chewing or taste experience. The salad was not the best and the feeding was bland. I have been here before and the quality of food and service has deteriorated. The meat, fruits, vegetables, foods are poor quality. The meat was very fatty I spent more time butchering the meat to remove the fats on a separate plate. The fried banana tasted force ripe /green and young there was no ripeness or sweetness to it.The cheese bread tasted like the frozen ones that was hard and distasteful, the soup was HIGHLY salty I couldn't drink it because it would send my BP through the roof. The soup tasted like the can soup from the supermarket as my the neighbor beside me described it as Campbell soup .They couldn't drink it and they too believe the food was poor quality and lack flavour. I heard a young boy that look like he was around 8 years old said to his brother the alfredo pasta is cold and that he didn't didn't like it..I knew I would not eat there again a little boy! The watermelon was deep red cold and mushy .It was not fresh I put some mint sauce on it and I couldn't eat it after one bite. I called the waitress on it on the check it said Jennifer and the manager I told them that the food quality has changed and the above findings. They say nothing has changed. The manager said she will go to check out the melon. She never came back JENNIFER came to me and asked me did the manager came back and I said no. The waitress told me that she believes "the spoiled melon I had was that only slice that I choose." The people at the next table told her but their we're smiled also .She didn't respond. Both her and the manager walked around with a mask smile and scripted lines. They both ignored the issue with no concern. I must say Jefferson he was one of the meet server he was good he apologized for everything he would offered the varieties of food and he offered cheese and honey and he was right that was good. He seems genuine. Overall, the service, quality of food, and the fake smile, below standard hospitality and scripted behaviares is as distasteful as the food.
On top of that loaded parking lot that had me looking for parking for over 10 minutes show some efficiency and advocacy reach out to the city and have some better parking lots that drain quickly. After COVID The price increased...
Read moreI could give them 5 stars, but I can’t due to the hostess. It’s incredibly easy to mess up an entire business just by choosing the wrong people to be the face of it. We were in the restaurant last weekend for the first time, first red flag was that we got there and it took a while for the hostess to appear in the front, there was like 3 more families besides our waiting for someone to help them and even though it was a really busy day the experience was not to bad after that, our server was awesome, the food good as well, but halfway through our experience there we order two more pińa coladas with the lady that was on the front, she was moving all around the restaurant and she came to our table and asked if we needed anything and we ask about the drinks and she said yes of course, so we kept going and waited for our drinks until our server came and we asked for the check, we also asked for the drinks and she didn’t know anything about it, but we were like, it’s ok we don’t wanted no more so don’t worry, when check came they wanted to charge us for the two pińa coladas that we never got, we let our server know and she took care of that gently, it was the hostess error. Today we went at lunch time, it’s was not super busy, the hostess was the same lady with short curly hair and when we ask for a table for 2 she took us to a table in the middle of the restaurant that we didn’t like, my husband ask for a booth because the rest of the restaurant was empty and she said that was the only table that was available and she kept moving, I went again and asked her because the restaurant was empty on the other areas and she barely paid attention, she basically didn’t care and said the same thing. We just walked away and left. She didn’t even tried to give a nice response she just was super agitated moving around cleaning and doing million things at the same time. Her attitude it’s a problem either management didn’t put enough people to work at that time and she was doing a few peoples job or she’s just simply like that, bc last weekend she was also doing different things at the same time. I don’t like to write bad reviews but my husband and I really appreciate good costumer service and we are really good tippers, we love to take care of people who take care of us nicely. We all work bc we need the money so it’s nice to appreciate each other in any possible way but attitude like this one could kill any type of business. You guys will probably not care about it bc it’s a big brand but for small business, good costumer service it’s the key to be successful. We loved the food and drinks but bc of this we don’t think we will be...
