Newbury Comics — Attraction in Dartmouth

The N. Dartmouth location was one of my favorites until they moved across the street to the mall where FYE was. Since then the prices on CDs and vinyl have been jacked up high and the music selection isn't a quarter of what it was 10 years ago.

It's better than nothing and I will make note of the friendly service I've experienced during multiple trips , but this location was easily 5 stars when it was outside of the mall. It used to have a lot of cool local merch and hard to find albums and some underground stuff but now it's very much a mass appeal pop culture mall store, devoid of all the localized culture it once had where you're more likely to find a LeBron James Funk Pop than a CD by a local Boston band. I mean they even had more out of market sports Funko Pops than Boston ones and this store i was very much one that celebrated Boston culture and pride.

Again, the employees have always been great. I just think moving into the mall has ruined this location a bit on multiple levels. It's really not much different than FYE was. Not bad, but I think anyone who went to the old location would agree it was...

Memorial day I had taken my soon to be 16 year Olds birthday list with me to the store and was hoping to find what I needed in one store so I could hurry and leave. The young lady Danielle noticed myself and my list and searched my items one by one. She was very attentive and helpful,along with her was another Kendall who helped me find a book my son has been waiting to read since he finished the first compendium awhile ago! I was so happy for that! These two kind ladies were more than helpful and friendly and ensured my son got what he asked for on his 16th...

I visit alot of Newbury comics around New England but one of my favorite for customer service and Horror collectibles is ALWAYS the Dartmouth mall location and if they don't have something they try their best to help me find what I'm looking for but Also the store is very neat and organized compared to most others I visit which makes it much easier to find what I'm looking for and to see what they have.
