As a kid we didn't have much to do as far as fun around the speedway, but with One Daytona there's plenty to do for all ages!
I regularly take the kids to Jeremiah's for a treat, or the candy shop (It's Sugar)for bag fulls if we really want to get rowdy. We love going to the movie theater almost every weekend & we can play for hours on end at Game Time.
Bass pro shops is also there & I get to look at the boats I want but can't afford, still a good time. We eat at 4 Rivers Smokehouse often, it's always good! Some nights in the center they have bands playing, it's awesome. There's also plenty of other shops there to keep you busy & a beautiful hotel to stay in right in the heart of all the action!
One Daytona is definitely a top choice for us! If you're from here, new to town or just passing through I promise you'll have a great time here. Don't forget, the CMX theater has a full bar...
Read moreWe have a couple of places that we shop at here, because it is where they moved to. However, we despise going to them and do not visit as often as we would if they were somewhere else. Parking is horrible and so is the flow of traffic through the area. It's like the designers wanted to see if they could cause vehicle crashes. They clog up the sidewalks with coolers and chairs, take up all of the parking, and meanwhile the stores are empty. This has been the case the last four times we've gone to visit a store. The two stores worth visiting: Runners Element and Donnies Donuts. Other than that, there isn't anything in there worth fighting the rude people...
Read moreIt must be the vicinity to the race track and other equally crowd magnetizing stuff, that makes everything so expensive in this mall. Well, I don't know about everything, was only there once, and didn't scout it out 100%. It looks like most of the stores are at the higher end of the fast sell market chain: Guess, P.T. Chang's or whatever it's called. Not only that, the ones I went to had higher than normal prices and I didn't see a single "sale" sign in the whole joint. Unless it's an emergency, I'd advise driving a little further somewhere else. Edit: Nope, there was a Guess shop at the mall when I was there. I wasn't at One Daytona "currently", though it is my belief that my review still has relevancy, and that the overall characteristics of the mall haven't changed significantly since...
