World Famous Boat Tours — Attraction in Daytona Beach

So let’s start with the night cruise. My wife and I booked a sunset ride on the river and it was very nice. The captain John was very knowledgeable on the local area and was very pleasant to deal with. He was cutting jokes from time to time and made sure this wasn’t ‘just another tour’. His daughter was the first mate and she was also pleasant to deal with. She was also knowledgeable and was waiting for us to arrive. All in all a wonderful experience. We didn’t see much wildlife because it was nighttime. But cool never the less. We also booked the daytime wildlife tour and that was very very cool. The captain Danielle and first mate Dominique were pleasant and she was even more knowledgeable about the local wildlife and habitat in the area. She went out of her way to find some wildlife for us to see and sure enough we saw dolphins playing, some pelicans and plenty of other birds. I have done plenty of tours and this really takes the cake. I took some pictures of both days and nights. Only in Florida. Also I saw a review from a same group of people that were on the same nighttime tour I was on and their review is waaaaay off. At no time did anyone feel uncomfortable. One of the ladies was also allowed to stand behind the steering wheel of the boat and had her picture taken with some funny captains hat and glasses. If I’m not mistaken they tipped as swell and never said anything bad about anything. That review is very very misleading. I highly recommend checking them out. Worth the money and more. Especially when they go out of their way to please everyone....

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We got this as a gift for our parents while they were on their vacation they had been waiting for and to WASTE an entire day waiting for this “business” to continue canceling on them. They were scheduled for 10, got a text it was canceled and rescheduled for 12 so they stuck around Daytona just to find out that time was cancelled and rescheduled for 2. They continued to stick around since we already paid until they received yet ANOTHER text it was just CANCELLED!! The website says NOTHING about cancelling because there wasn’t enough people they only mention cancelling because of weather. I find it very frustrating for a business to advertise boat tours when they won’t actually take you on a boat tour unless there’s enough people for them to make it “worth it”. Had the honor and privilege to go out Saturday 3/15 for a tour with Capt. Danielle. I came from MD visiting for Chords On The Coast Songwriters Festival. Capt. John made me feel very welcome from the very beginning with the reservation process. Being an adult male with Spina Bifida comes with some expected exclusions. Capt. John and Capt. Danielle reassured me multiple times that would not be the case with them. After several other tour companies turned me away for my wheelchair. World Famous Boat Tours welcomed us with zero hesitancy. Captain John helped me on the boat himself and didn't make me feel like a burden. Had a wonderful educational time on the tour with Caot. Danielle. Then was assisted off the boat and pier afterwards. If I ever come back to Daytona! I will 100% call.them and do it again!
