Urgent: Unacceptable Customer Service and Quality at Krispy Kreme Deerfield Beach - Immediate Attention Needed
I am writing this review to bring to light a deeply troubling experience at the Krispy Kreme location at 1240 West Hillsborough Blvd., Deerfield Beach, FL, on June 30th, 2025, at approximately 4:57 PM. As a loyal customer, I am appalled by the behavior of one of your staff members, Kurteria, and the overall lack of professionalism displayed at this location.
What happened:
Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was in the process of deciding my order when Kurteria approached my window and asked if she could help. I informed her I was still figuring out what to order. Instead of courteous assistance, she rudely snapped, "Hurry up, I don’t have all day," stating she was about to go on her break. I heard another coworker laughing in the background, which only added to the uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere.
I was stunned by her disrespectful tone and shared my shock with my friends, who confirmed they heard her rude comment. Kurteria then repeated her dismissive remark even as I drove off. As I parked my vehicle and approached the entrance, I saw her inside the establishment at the front door, seemingly preparing to leave, with her keys in hand and her body language indicating she was about to go on break.
When I asked to speak to the manager, Kurteria falsely claimed she was the manager. She then followed me to the counter, despite claiming to be on break, and proceeded to serve me. I paid for the donuts, which, unfortunately, were completely unacceptable—dry, overcooked, darker than usual, and inedible. My friends and I had to throw the donuts away due to their poor quality.
This experience is unacceptable on every level:
Unprofessional and rude behavior:** Kurteria’s attitude and language towards a customer are completely inappropriate and uncalled for. This kind of conduct tarnishes the reputation of Krispy Kreme and discourages loyal customers.
Lack of proper management oversight:** The fact that such behavior went unchecked suggests a serious management failure. Her claim to be the manager, despite her rude behavior, is concerning.
Subpar product quality:** The donuts were overcooked and dry, which indicates a lack of attention to quality control.
My call to action:
I have already contacted corporate, and they assured me they would investigate. I declined their offer of a replacement dozen donuts, as my primary concern is the conduct of your staff and the overall customer experience at this location.
To Krispy Kreme Corporate: This incident raises serious questions about staff training, management oversight, and customer service standards at this location. I urge you to take immediate action—conduct a thorough investigation, provide additional staff training, and ensure that your employees uphold the professionalism and quality standards that Krispy Kreme is known for.
Customers deserve respectful service and consistent product quality. Anything less damages your brand’s reputation and discourages repeat business.
In conclusion: This was a highly disappointing experience that I hope prompts swift action from your corporate team. I trust that Krispy Kreme will address these issues promptly to prevent future incidents and uphold the integrity...
Read moreWe drove 45 minutes to get some donuts which to us was worth it but when we got there we saw a cop and 2-3 employees outside one we found out was the manager and they also had 2 more employees sitting down inside writing statements and at this time no one we saw walking in was worried about us as they had there own issue going on but the gentleman who took care of us couldn’t understand where the donuts we wanted were and then ripped the box and as he was replacing it dropped some of our donuts on the floor and mind you this whole time he isn’t making eye contact he is super slow and honestly he looked lost and sometime during him taking care of us the manager asked him to do something and kept repeating himself but he just couldn’t understand and went back to helping me and that forced the manager to take care of whatever he wanted done himself and then the manager went to talk to the cop as that was happening the gentleman went to ring me up for a dozen donuts but went to the drive thru and came back with our total but I wanted a drink so I hand him the drink and asked him to add it and then since it was taking so long we offered our card so he could just pay for it whole back there and when we got our card and recipt we went to leave but out of no where 2ladies and that guy tell us we can’t leave and it takes some arguing to figure out why and that say you paid for someone else’s order can you shine me your recipt and at the time I threw it away crumbled up I had no use for it and they basically had me go reach for it and me and my partner couldn’t find it after digging cause it fell way in as we were moving in there and so now we try to wash our hand but the bathrooms were locked and had keypads on them I was headed to leave at this point and some girl from the drive thru who had been in that area the whole time says I can’t go cause I paid for her drive thru a order I told them what were they even doing because there was 3 of them I was the only customer inside the store and we had been there probally 10-13 minutes due to the slowness of this dude but I told the lady what we paid for how much was on the recipt before tossing it and I told her to us and based on the prices listed we paid for our correct order and she said no and I was like well what’s your solution and all 3 of them were just standing there looking stupid but the guy that been taking care of us apologized and said the managers right there pointing to the man talking to the cop still and we tried to wait but the cop left and manager disappeared in the back they had no right to keep us there and we paid so we walked out but that was a crazy situation I hope to never deal with again and I won’t by not...
Read moreI’m not the type of person to even leave a bad review, is just not me. But i have to do it for this one time. The fact i pulled up to the drive through speaker and was trying to be quick with my order and this girl wants to make it longer than what it is. Starting off, she never greeted me i had to say “hello” couple times. Then she just says “yes hello” like if I’m making a phone call with her? Wth. Then i tell her ok im getting 2 dozens. From there she just completely stays quiet, yet i hear the mic turning on as i hear the background noises so clearly she was ignoring me. As im there a good minute keep saying hello as again shes ignoring me i pulled off to go just order at the window, shes not at the window so i pulled to the front and i see her getting out the bathroom and we clearly saw eachother from the glass as she sees me and im seeing her. So i go back to the speaker and im like “hello” shes like “uhh yesss im trying to figure out your order and we’re closing already. “ yet is 10:38pm. Saturday Sept 27,25. I left because im pregnant and i definitely was not going to let this individual stress me out over me just wanting to order and clearly shes miserable with her job. Girl leave your job if youre that miserable clearly. I seen im not even the only one with this type of complaint and krispy kreme just responds as if is an AI like how unprofessional this company is.
