This park was recently inaugurated as before it, there was only a very old boat dock with “zombies” walking around (It didn’t feel very safe to be around and being with the family). As part of the new construction, the City added two playgrounds, a splash pad, bathrooms, plenty of parking, new boat ramps, security (Park personnel), plenty of benches as well as a canopy for parties and BBQ grills. The park has very clean facilities and the view is beautiful. You can also catch fish with your family or friends, dock your boat and of the Deerfield beach island. There is also a new pedestrian path that can take you to the Cove restaurant and the Cove plaza, you can practically spend the whole day there, playing with the family, grilling some food, going to the island, shopping at the Cove restaurant and buying stuff at the also renovated plaza south of Sullivan park. If you want to rent the canopy for a party, you can call the main number of Deerfield beach parks and recreations. We were not charged a penny, but I think it is because the park was just opened at that time. Something tells me they are going to start charging soon as this is gem in the middle of...

The views are stunning, and the design is simply beautiful. 😍 The park offers a perfect haven for kids aged 10 and under, providing them with endless hours of fun and excitement. 💦🎉 It's the ideal spot to cool off and take a refreshing break from the Florida heat.
However, one thing to keep in mind is that parking is not free, which is somewhat unusual for most kids' playgrounds. But don't worry, there's a solution! Simply download the app for seamless parking and easy payment. 🅿️📱

Read moreWent here to paddle board. Park is nice. Has parking free for 4 hours, I assume to stop boaters from using it to park all day. Has nice area for small children to play in waterpark (shoots of water coming up out of ground). Has boat ramp, but also a paddleboard launch area. The paddle board area is protected, even though some boats passed by at very slow speed so as not to make paddleboarding difficult. You can paddle around a small island, largely uninhabited, (looks like a wildlife sanctuary). You can choose to turn around and go back, or you can enter the larger intracoastal to go back to dock. Depends on how comfortable you feel being exposed to the wake of boats going faster. It seems to be a good paddleboard learning experience, but not a lot to do there. It appears you can go onto the wildlife area where they seem to have a boardwalk. It looks like it may be under repair, so was not...
