Huskie Stadium — Attraction in DeKalb Township

It's not modern, it lacks amenities, but in my opinion. It's the greatest place to watch football. Every seat in the house presents a good view of football game. The team is typically pretty good for a mid major squad and the prices are lower than any other collegiate or pro team in the state. There's nothing uniquely special in terms of concessions, as they are wheeled over from nearby dorms, but the good news is that everything is pretty cheap. I think it's cool they serve alcohol in the stands now, that makes things interesting. Tailgating before the game can be pretty fun too. Bought a ticket for the FNBO challenge. We just moved to the area & my daughter is in the Sycamore High School Marching Band. They do not accommodate handicap/disabled people. First lady that checked me in told me I couldn’t enter the stadium with my walker. She asked another guy & he said yes but I couldn’t block any aisles. Well I walk up all the ramps, enter the stadium & low & behold there is NO place for me to go. I had to leave BEFORE seeing my daughter in the band. NO accommodations whatsoever!! I was there for my Grandson high School Graduation. I understand it's a Stadium, but the walk from the parking lot to the Stadium was horrible. There was no shuttle bus no where near. My Grandson graduation class was 821 students. Mind u each family had 6 to 7 tickets per family. This was the worst experience i ever had. The parking lot going home was even worst.
