West Volusia Regional Shopping Center — Attraction in DeLand

It's 2018 and it definitely shows it more empty stores and people are actually in that strip mall, there was a pet store in there for over 20 years now all of a sudden they decide to build to pet stores less than a mile down the street it's not fair when you put some hard-working business people out of business but I guess that's life but the new Petco that they build is smaller than anything and the kids in there just don't care. This place would be great if Publix wasnt there. Publix seems to have this idea that they pay their employees well, but threatens them any time they have to get a second job to afford a liveable situation... They either need to start making their prices affordable or bring back bonus' to their employees. Either way, I don't really shop there anymore. This shopping center has multiple places to stop and grab a meal whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner. Keke’s is highly recommended for breakfast or brunch. It’s very nice and all of their food is delicious. If you need a few things to fill your pantry, there’s also a Publix located in the shopping center and if you’re in the mood for a smoothie you can choose from Planet Smoothie or Tropical Cafe.
