The in store experience was great. Everything after that has been terrible. Received word that our furniture late May was ready so we scheduled delivery. We cleared out our entire living room for the sectional - sold old furniture. Only to find out less than a week ahead of delivery that they could not deliver because multiple pieces were no longer in stock. Spent about 3 hours on the phone with customer service while weâre on vacation. We werenât happy with the result but did our best to resolve the situation including the customer service managerâs word that delivery would be honored with the rescheduled date approximately two weeks later. Now this morning a new text arrives telling us less than 48 hours before delivery that items are not available again. So angry that we have now gone weeks without our new furniture and have canceled plans for family to visit since we donât even have furniture in our living room for them to sit on. Plus we canât even comfortably sit in our main living room to relax ourselves. Only the Bob-bot texts sending out the bad news and not an actual human who can at least pretend to solve a problem. It seems to be the customerâs job to call them to resolve problems. Basically Bobâs has taken an interest free loan from us for thousands of dollars for the past three months. We have neither received reasonable service nor product. This is the worst order fulfillment Iâve ever experienced. I ended up waiting 2 months for the item to finally get delivered. at least 6 times they canceled delivery on me through the entire process. at one point they canceled on me 3 times within an hour and a half. I went into the store 3 times to get things resolved. every time the sales mangers told me that they would fix the issue and that they would refund my delivery fee and also compensate me for my troubles. I was told to wait until the item was delivered and contact them and they would adjust the price in the store. they lied. I was told after that i should contact customer care. Customer care said they had no notes on the conversation and they could not help me. after fighting with them for over and hour and them hanging up on me twice, i was able to at least get the delivery fee removed.
Don't go to bobs furniture, if you do be ready to not get your stuff. Customer service and the sales group are either dishonest or have no clue what they are talking about. Make sure to get everything in writing (make sure it was entered into the system too), they will promise compensation or anything to make the sale but will not honor it. Very dishonest company. Expect to call back numerous times to resolve anything. Don't remove any of your old items until the day of delivery or you will end up with no furniture, because they will cancel the night before.    Read moreWe went in 2 week ago with full intention to buy furniture. I am putting in new hardwood floors, and my current living room set doesn't match. We heard about their hospitality, white glove delivery, and the goof proof protection. We were sold on that alone. They have a lot of great living room pieces. We found one we liked but had questions. The salesman was not really engaging at all. At first it was ok because we don't love of a pushy salesman. We asked if it came in a different color or if it could be ordered? He said "no" and "that total piece is $5000, did you look at this piece?" Pointing to a cheaper looking set. We decided to think about getting the color that was available, we were almost sold. We asked the salesman, who ended up being the store manager, for a card. As we were leaving, we hear him kind of snickering with another salesman. The next morning, I looked on their website and the set WAS available to order. Very disappointing that he obviously made some kind of assumptions. Later that day we had a family luncheon to attend in Flint and stopped at another store. We left there with over a $6000 living room set. Beautiful and in the color we were looking to get. Awaiting the delivery as we had to order it. As a salesman Bob's should know you "NEVER SPEND A CUSTOMER'S WALLET!!!"
