I park here for longer trips for work. If you live in an RTD district, parking is only $2 a day (otherwise it’s $4). I like it because by the time you get parked at an offsite lot near the airport and wait for their shuttle, you pretty much spend the same amount of time on the train. Plus, if you’re not checking bags, the train takes right into the south security gate. If you do have bags to check, (and you’re 90 minutes before your flight), there is a bag check area right by the escalator where you get off the train. Read moreDown the street, fine. Going to the next suburb or town, worse, across the metro? Horrible!! Plan on 4-8mph. Also plan on rude drivers if you ride often. Busses are terrible solution for anything but express routes or quick trips. Financially it's a terrible public investment in that fares account for 4% of revenue, so your trip actually costs as much as a ride share.
They should eliminate the routes in the middle of the efficiency range and use shuttles or cars to get people from door to door at a similar cost.
