Alchemy Face Bar Highlands | Denver — Attraction in Denver

This is one of the reasons I wish I lived in Denver. As a visitor from Michigan, I came in not knowing what to expect. I walked into a small salon and was promptly greeted by Tina who offered me a nice cup of tea. Michelle, my esthetician, explained what would happen in the next hour, and kept me informed on what she was doing every step of the way.

When it came to extractions, she was super thorough and caused as little pain as possible. If you've ever had this done, you know that it can be one of the most uncomfortable feelings in the world, but Michelle made it bearable! It's now been 4 days since I was here, and my breakouts from pre-visit are healing speedily.

However, the icing on the cake was when I was looking at purchasing some of the products that were used during my facial. I didn't want to bring them home in my luggage (Spirit fees, amirite?) so they looked it up on their website to see if I could buy it from there. One of the products wasn't available, so Michelle and Tina graciously offered to ship them to my house so I didn't have to pack them!

Amanda was absolutely amazing! this was my first facial in 5 years and my second facial ever, so it was basically a new experience again for me. She was so sweet and walked me through everything to expect right up front. She then made sure i was comfortable on the bed and then asked me about my skin and my routine. One of the things I loved in particular was that she quietly mentioned what she was about to do before she did it and then was quiet the rest of the time so I could relax! A few of the other specialists were a bit more chatty. I then asked her questions at the end about what she recommends for my routine moving forward and she gave me some samples to try. overall a super awesome experience, and I will definitely be back to see Amanda again!

Very disappointed with the customer service I received today. My daughters and I have been clients for 2+ years and we’ve always been punctual to every appointment. We were running a bit behind today and I had the courtesy to call and let them know we were running 5 mins behind. I was told this shouldn’t be a problem and this would work out okay. A few mins later I received a call from Alchemy and the woman on the phone mentioned that we could not come in a few mins late because my daughter required 45 mins instead of the standard 30 mins that their booking system had assigned. How was that our fault?

As mentioned my daughter has been a client for a long time and the Vagaro system isn’t recognizing her a such. She apparently came in as a new client. NOT MY FAULT.

I wasn’t given an alternate option nor the flexibility to go a few mins late AND I was immediately charged after our conversation.
