Swing Thai Tennyson — Restaurant in Denver

Just ordered via Eat24/Yelp tonight and had the worst experience. I've ordered from these guys via Eat24 several times (all three locations as I've lived all over town for the last ten years) and while the food is never stellar it's generally serviceable. This time the food was terrible as was the delivery execution. I even called and spoke with a manager (who never identified himself, but it was the guy who answered my phone call at 7:04pm on Thursday March 16th) who basically blamed "groupon" for the mess.

They substituted a custard dessert for the mango sticky rice without even attempting to contact myself or Eat24/Yelp to clear that. I can't eat the custard due to an allergy and would have rejected it and asked them to take it off the order entirely. The manager said they had no way to do that because Eat24 wouldn't allow it.

The two main dishes (Drunken Noodles w/ tofu and Green Papaya Salad) were not good. The salad was pretty tasteless, and the noodles were downright inedible. I've had both dishes before and there's usually at least some flavor and heat in both, and I even requested extra hot for the noodles. There were a few green beans and mostly just gluey noodles and tofu that tasted like burnt butter.

Again, I mentioned everything to the man who answered the phone and he made excuses and didn't offer to make anything right. Once I asked him outright if he was going to try to make it right he basically told me no, that I should ask for a refund from Eat24.

Also my apartment unit can be confusing for delivery drivers and I left detailed instructions through my Eat24 order - the driver did not have those and had to call me to find anything. What a mess.

I'm hungry and angry about spending $29.14 on food that I can't eat. I won't order from Swing...

Great music and atmosphere, mango margarita was delicious! Spring rolls and crab rangoons were tasty as well. I ordered the coconut and lemongrass soup with chicken and noodles mild to medium and it came out so bland... It smelt and taste like boiled chicken In water. Normally we don't send things back and were very nice about it, but the wait staff was not happy with us afterwards. We ordered pineapple chicken fried rice instead and we're very happy with that! - I'm updating this review and leaving less stars because when we were presented with the check the waitress had left the soups on the bill instead of ringing up the rice in their place.. when we politely asked about fixing the issue, we were met with rude looks and remarks from our waitress saying she couldn't fix it, that the soup was good and it was our taste buds, and there was no manager to resolve the issue... Having worked in the restaurant industry for 6+ years the answer to any issue should never be "no", especially when your guests are nice, and not being hostile about the issue. It took us getting up for them to simply separate the items off the check and ring in what we actually ate to resolve the problem. Rather unfortunate to have to experience this confrontation while visiting Denver. Tasty food, but customer service...

I ordered food to be delivered only 0.2 miles away. My food came, part of it was cold and they forgot to bring my drink. She realized and brought it back, but it was very flat and tasted like straight syrup. I called them about the drink, and said they didn’t need to bring back anything else to drink, then asked if I could have the money for my drink be put towards something else a later date, bc it was really gross. She argued that it wasn’t flat, and that I was wrong. She then commanded me in a very poor tone to never order soft drinks from them again. I said that with the kind of attitude she was giving to me as a customer, that I wasn’t sure I would want to order anything to be delivered from them again. (especially since they have $15.00 minimum, so I had to order more than I could eat, part of it was cold, and the drink was not there, then arrived after I’d eaten most of my food very flat). She then hung up on me. Awful customer service, though the delivery girl was nice, mediocre food, 45 mins to deliver 0.2 miles away. Yeah, I’m not recommending this place to anyone. I never take the time to write a review, unless it’s simply an awful experience that I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through. Hope this helps some to choose a better run place to...
