Husband and I have been trying small batch coffee shops for about 2 years now. We live in Aurora but our chiropractor is in Arvada so we travel the I-70 corridor quite a bit. For some reason, Tenn St has NEVER come up in my searches until this morning! What?! Husband used to attend networking meetings down the street at the Cozy Cottage and did not know the coffee shop was there! So crazy. But I fell in love the minute we walked in the door! As a book lover, how could you not?! Itās so cozy and welcoming and charming andā¦. You get my point. The vinyl station is just š«¶š» How unique! Itās clean and the baristas were friendly. We did not utilize the restroom or have food so I canāt comment on those. The parking seems to be all street and when I say all, that makes it sound like thereās more/easy parking. I would not say that. š And the coffee is ok. Itās not great but itās not bad by any means. Just not as flavorful as expected. We got vanilla lattes and they probāly just needed more vanilla but they were busy so we didnāt want to bother. It wasnāt that serious. Coffee for us canāt taste like coffee soā¦. š The coffee wasnāt bitter tasting or super strong or anything so it was fine. And we had the best conversation with another customer! I love that! I think weāll come back in two weeks on the way to...

The place has a bookstore on one side and some folks reading, while I stayed on the side with the coffee and some art. I got about 2 hours of work done without issue, and wifi was fine.
There are some other coffee shops in the area I'm looking forward to trying, yet overall enjoyed this one enough...

Additionally, we came to have a nice cup of coffee AT the coffee shop. We did not order our drinks to go, and do not like to use disposable cups if not needed. Our drinks came out to-go anyways. A cappuccino is much more enjoyable in a nice wide ceramic cup than a half-full, narrow disposable one. These may seem like small picky details, but they are ones that would make me walk past this place next time instead...
