I'm genuinely ashamed at how long it has taken me to write this review — Mel & her team deserve all the praise they can get!

I have suffered from cystic & hormonal acne off and on my entire life. All throughout high school, I was bullied and called "connect the dots" and "pepperoni face" because 1. Kids are mean and 2. My face & body was covered in acne.

Thanks to the pill & one round of Accutane, I was free of acne from the ages of 17 - 27. During that fantastic decade, I hardly remembered those painful teenage days. Fast forward to 2021 and I decided to get off the pill for a variety of health-related reasons. I was terrified about what this would do to my skin, but I figured I was "old enough" to never deal with the same skin issues I had as a kid.

WRONG. My skin flared up worse than it ever had as a teenager. I had cysts all over my cheeks, forehead, chin, back, chest —everywhere. I had tried to self-treat at home, but nothing was working, so I finally reached out for help. Thankfully, I made the best decision of my life and reached out to Mel and her team. My initial esthetician was Rheanon — an incredible woman with a heart of gold who helped me get my acne under control. I did three Acne Bootcamps over the course of a year with her, and within 4 months of treatment, the cysts were mellowing out and I no longer experienced the barrage of breakouts. About six months in to treatment, I was acne free. That may sound like a long time to fellow acne sufferers reading this, but remember acne takes months to form under the skin — nothing and no one will be able to clear it overnight!

Rheanon has since moved to another state, so I transitioned my care to Mel, the owner & founder. WHAT A LITERAL SAINT. Mel is one of the best people I've ever met. EVER. I have cried upwards of 10x at Beautiful Skin Denver (iykyk, acne & life can be devastating) and she and Rheanon have always been by my side, my own personal cheerleaders. I truly don't know where I'd be if I hadn't found Mel & Beautiful Skin Denver. Acne takes its toll on your mental health and self esteem, and suffice it to say, I was in a losing battle when I stepped into their office back in October 2021.

It's been almost two years since I took the leap and sought a solution for my acne and I'm so thankful that I did. I've gone through three rounds of microneedling for scarring and that has helped tremendously, as well. I still have the occasional breakout, but as they say at Beautiful Skin Denver, healthy skin can still develop a zit here and there — I adore their realistic expectations and mantras. Overall, my self-esteem is on the rise, my skin is looking more like the skin I remembered while on the pill, and I can't thank Mel and her team enough for their generosity and expertise. Y'all saw me at my lowest and treated me with such kindness...I don't know how I'll ever repay you but I hope speaking my truth here brings in anyone who might relate to my story.

This is the one and only place for everything!!! Me and my husband have been going here for 3 years and the services, professionalism, and kindness of each staff member has been consistently amazing throughout our time going here. This is a medical spa so it's very results driven, which is a must for me and my husband and they have gone above and beyond in doing so. The added therapeutic touch when receiving certain facials that Leigha provides has been a bonus for me!

For me I struggled with a noninflammatory acne and Melissa, the owner, sat down with me along with the team and they assessed my lifestyle and skin to get me going on the best route possible to clear my acne up. And it worked! I was skeptical because the noninflammatory acne can be stubborn but with the right products, coming in routinely, and asking questions as needed, my acne is now gone! I enjoy getting the fire and ice facial the most! My skin feels dewy and tight and I glow for weeks. No kidding. It's worth it! Along side that I recommend trying clear lift and Erbium. I do those back to back to help my skin as a preventative measure and to tighten and shrink pores. I am happy with the results and continue this regimen going on year 2 for me.

For my husband, he had major deep lines in his forehead, red skin, and a few other dark spots and through the work of Melissa, Stephanie, and Maggie, his forehead lines are non existent, his skin is tighter, and he has a more youthful look now! He enjoys getting botox, Scultpra, and PRP under his eyes. My friend was just telling me how much brighter and younger looking he looks these days!

If you're wanting an injector who is honest, listens to your goals, and doesn't rush you into a decision, then Stephanie is your girl. She has wowed me with her knowledge and the way she listens and provides feedback before moving forward. I have received lip filler and botox from her as well. I am very happy with my results because they look natural on me, which is what I want.

Overall, amazing place. Stop in. You won't regret it. Neither will...

I truly cannot thank Melissa enough. I came to her after years of frustration, hopelessness, insecurity and thousands of dollars spent trying to fix a pair of botched eyebrows that completely impacted my confidence. I tried everything... saline removal, magnetic tattoo removal, multiple expensive laser sessions that not only failed but turned the pigment red. Nothing worked. I genuinely felt like I had no way out.

Then, I found Melissa through a Facebook group where I’d posted asking for help. I was skeptical but desperate. To my surprise, her laser removed the bad microblading almost entirely in just two sessions. Something I never thought possible after everything I had been through.

For the first time in years (literally years), I can look in the mirror and feel confident again.

Melissa is not only skilled, she’s also real, kind, understanding, and professional. She never once made me feel judged or rushed, and her honesty made the whole process feel safe. I wish I had found her sooner. It would’ve saved me so much money and emotional distress.
