Highly recommend this scrapyard to be thee absolute LAST possible place for your business. I am not sure what to do about this but⌠See pictures below 2nd trailer load (load was DOUBLE the 1st) That trailer (small dump trailer) was full with what was mutually agreed upon as âcleanâ sheet copper at $2.90/pound per the lady who works the scale (which disappeared after my load was uncovered and they saw it). Then I loaded it into a beat up metal box and then I walked to truck to get wallet. I had no clue what to think when my entire load of metal was nowhere to be found and NOBODY was able to tell me or wanted to help. Found it parked inside the small scale area but itâs only bc I jumped up and into the bay door area and walked in. They proceeded with the weight process but never removed copper from box. I asked the boss âwhy arenât they weighing it out and how do you know that that box is the correct weight, and when was the box last checked out for weight calibration etcââŚnot one response to my question other than him pointing to a number â331â barely visible spray painted on the outside of it. Then. Iâm told the copper is $2.05/pound but the lady is still nowhere in site. That load totaled $450.00 but my load before that was a SMALLER half the size and it totaled about $670. They said all of that was only 221 pounds. They are the worst people in the business so I highly suggest you take it to ATLAS or other places first....
Read moreI come in a couple days ago and pull up on the scale and jump out of my friends vehicle because he's never been there and I hand the female my ID and she's just to busy on her phone and hands it back to me and I get back in vehicle and she says I'm good to go. Get back on scale after dumping everything off and she asks me if I weighed in.... are you kidding me right now was my response and even pointed to all the stuff I had just dumped next to the semi that was getting loaded up. And any other time I've come, it's been stated that the drive on scale would have to be 200lbs or more of metal to even weigh in, when your vehicle over exceeds that limit. And I know I brought well over my own weight in scrap metal and I'm at 253lbs. Receipt 895325 on 5/30/2024 at 9:39:58AM, obviously you've got my name and this ticket number 913105. This is ridiculous because you'll ask me to bring my Receipt down, just like you have MULTIPLE times in the past due to the guys in nonferrous picking and choosing who they want to give deals to and there's been numerous times I'd get charged for dirty copper when it was clean bare or they would just dump the wire that wasn't striped in with the striped wire and call it all dirty. But let me waste my time and gas to come back there to show you receipts on how you can't do your jobs...
Read moreComplete honesty hands down this is the last place u should go to recycle anything but steel. They pay so much less than anywhere else that even if u clean your metals. You should clean metal wait a day or two and turn it in during week otherwise u will feel like u just got robbed for all your hard work. It's sad to say this but it's the truth I don't care what debt I have I just won't ever say I will pay u back tomorrow if it's the weekend because odds are u still won't get enough to pay your debt. I don't care I will not ever take anything there less it's steel and I'll make sure my steel is not clean because they deserve it. An don't bite on the rewards program it's just another scheme to make people thi k there getting somewhere with them and than they don't pay out anywhere to compensate there horrible take advantage of hard workers that keep them open day in and day out. I bet we get together and stop going there than there prices will go up stop giving them our hard earned business if u have to go than your just saying it's okay for them to continue to not pay fair. An than that just means your helping the business take our hard earned money. I wouldn't even give a star but...
