A friend suggested we try this place and I was absolutely up for it since it has such good reviews and such a high rating. We made an appointment for 3 of us a couple weeks before. One of us, Natalee, ended up having to take an earlier flight out of town and couldnāt make her appointment so she called the day prior to cancel and specifically say that the other two would be there. I was with her when she canceled her own appointment. I arrived at the salon only to be informed that they no longer had my appointment in the books, only my friend Cassidy. Which I thought was odd because I had definitely not canceled my appointment. They informed me they had an opening but I couldnāt get both the deluxe gel manicure and pedicure as I had requested. They informed me that there was availability later in the day for both me and my friend Cassidy so we moved our appointments. There was no apology for the mistake.
We arrived at the salon at 2:50, appointment being at 3, and I left the salon at 6:40. They had put us with a very new tech. Although she was sweet there was a lack of skill there that youād expect from the salon (as seen through others work as posted on yelp and google). I also find it strange that after they canceled my appointment (without being told or notification) that they didnāt put us with someone who would impress and make up for the mistake. They had also forgot to put me down for gel on my toes, meaning there wasnāt enough time slotted and I got normal polish.
I got gel polish on my nails. Iāve been getting gel on my nails for over a year now because I like that it strengthens my nails and prevents them from breaking easily. I also know, through experience, that gel is resilient and doesnāt scratch or flake easily. It took 1 hour to do a simple design on 2 of my fingers. The next day both my friend and I have bubbles and wrinkles in the polish. I work as a receptionist and do not put myself in situations that could even begin to scratch or peel the polish. The tech, as mentioned, was very nice and said any issues in the next 2 weeks and I can come back to the salon to fix the polish but honestly Iām not prepared to spend another 2 hours getting a polish fix. Itās ridiculous to me that it took 3.5 hours for a manicure and pedicure. I Will not be visiting this salon again...

The following is why: I called to make an appointment for my mother and I in the afternoon the girl on the other line said that they were able to accommodate for this afternoon. She then gave me a quote for a mani pedi (130). I gave her my last name and number, that is all that she asked for and told her I would be there at 6pm. (All of this was fine) I then get a call, which later turned out to be the salon, asking for a SUE?????? So I tell the girl that called that they had the wrong number. My name is not Sue nor even close.... She was not professional and did not disclose where she was calling from. I then arrive at the salon (15 minutes early). I call to make sure that I am able to park in the parking lot connected to the complex they were in which doubles as an apartment building. The girl that answered the phone was very rude and told me I gave her the wrong name ..... She had an attitude and told me I disclosed that my name, again was And again I did not ever disclose my first name .... She then proceeds to tell me that I made an appointment for one person( I made an appointment for two) she then was very unaccommodating for this mistake on their part. The whole time the girls in the shop never asked if we wanted anything to drink during our wait the just glared at my mother and I. After getting our nails done, I paid for the services and spoke with the co owner and she was very unprofessional and had an issue with looking me in the eye.... She then proceeded to tell me that the person booking the appointment must have been under the impression that I wanted one mani/pedi, so I ask her why they quoted me for two she acted absent minded and said "I don't know" and continued to play around with the computer the whole time not looking at me and trying to be short with me. I myself am a business owner. I understand that people come in to spend money with my business that they do not have to spend and if someone is not completely satisfied I promise to make it up to that client. This "business" is not worth a second chance and needs to be inspected my DORA...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is the worst disappointment ever. As an Asian man I was super excited to find an Asian barber/ Asian business to support in Denver but the way that the staff treats customers is so bad I cannot justify spending my money at this place.
All the other reviews talk about how unfriendly all of the staff are unfortunately correct. If you are even 1-2 minutes late the front desk staff and especially your barber will give you such a hard time about it. I get it, be on time, but you are also a customer service business and a little understanding would go a long way, something you all donāt seem to realize.
The barber, Son, in particular is what made it so that I will never come back. He acts annoyed that he has to cut your hair, doesnāt listen to anything you ask for and just gives you the closest/ quickest cut to what he thinks you asked for. Even during my first appointment with him, which I was on time for, he made me feel rushed. When I asked for particular spots to be done again I could literally feel Son pulling my hair in frustration as he had to take more time to cut it. If you donāt want to cut hair, get a different job.
The second time I tried to come here, I was a few minutes late due to work and was treated even worst by Son again. Iām okay with even indifferent customer service if the haircut is good but Son actually does not like his job it seems and goes out of his way to make you uncomfortable. As someone with anxiety around haircuts this was literally my nightmare, a pissed off barber who is upset that youāre asking him to cut your hair. So uncomfortable. I like supporting Asian businesses and was excited to find an Asian person to cut my hair in Denver but I do not recommend this place...
