Horrible. I went to get my eybrows done for homecoming. My mom also went to get her nails done. (I got my eyebrows done by the same lady who did my moms nail's) I had to wait about an hour to even get helped yet a woman came in to get her eybrows done after I came and she got helped first. I was waiting in one of their chairs and the lady pushed my chair over to the wax station instead of asking me to get up. Once I got up she continued to push the chair into the back of my knees. She waxed my eyebrows and repeatedly went over the same sections. She also pushed very hard onto my skin because she accidentally got hot wax on my edges. She made my eyebrows very uneven and she waxed about 1/4 of my left eyebrow. The right eyebrow is much longer. I repeatedly told her I didnt want thin brows but she just did what she wanted. Now my eyebrows are so messed up I have to go buy a pomade to fill them in every single day. Now I have to wake up early everyday just to do them. To top it all off my eyebrows grow very slowly so I'll be stuck with my eyebrows like this for a very long time. Also my mom's nails don't look good at all. Some are fatter than others and the lady made them way too short. My mom ended up doing her nails how she wanted when...
Read moreI do like this place. Been here 5 times at this point and the owners are very sweet and work really hard. I love the selection of nail gel colors they have and I've asked the male nail technician to complete some pretty difficult nail art, and he did great. I went on vacation and he did what's on the picture I posted.
I admit, the aesthetics of the salon itself are lacking - older equipment and it's not an elegant or beautiful new salon, but I'm all about supporting small businesses, especially when owned by such sweet and attentive people. I'm probably going to make an effort and get to know them by name next time and get to know them better soon. I intend to continue coming here. It's been hard for me to find a place I'm comfortable with since moving to Denver from Miami over 2 yrs ago. Happy I found...
