Have you had a sandwich at Spinelli's Market? If the answer is no get in your vehicle and drive over right away. They are a hidden gem in Park Hill and the sandwiches especially are the BOMB! With a menu of 15+ choices plus create your own there's no shortage of choices. The meat and cheeses are high quality brands and all of the breads they use are fresh and tasty. My Italian Roast Beef was $12.99 before tax. No it's not an inexpensive sandwich. Yes it is very filling (two could easily share one sandwich and be satisfied) It does come with a pickle but chips or other sides are extra. There was so much roast beef on the sandwich (see picture). The marinated onions & peppers had vinegary flavor and the provolone cheese complements the other flavors. With lettuce, tomato and house dressing this sandwich is just a delight. I also love the aubergine almonds made fresh with oil, chilies and spices. So addictive. Spinellis also offers other market goods. They are higher end brands so this is not a replacement for King Soopers/Safeway.

Stopped by on a Saturday when I was in the area. Parking is street parking in the residential area surrounding it. The have a couple tables on the sidewalk in front and a couple tables inside. Place was busy especially at the deli in the back. Ordered a sandwich from the large options. Sandwiches come with a pickle and a piece of fruit. While I waited for the sandwich, I explored the store. Small selection of items but some interesting items. They make and sell their own brand of pasta sauces. Interesting. They also make what appears to be a rotating selection of take and bake meals like quiches and other items. I decided to buy the chicken green chile quiche and a dish labels Mexican lasagna with my sandwich. The sandwich was good and if in the area again, I would try another sandwich from the list. I would also get another quiche and seeing what other items are there. The quiche was delicious and the lasagna was very good too. Will though probably order the sandwich online to save time next time.

🄪 Spinelli’s Market: Roast Beef Sandwich Perfection 🄪 I stopped by Spinelli’s Market, and let me tell you, the roast beef sandwich was next-level amazing! šŸ˜ Thinly sliced, tender roast beef paired with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly baked bread – every bite was bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality and care they put into crafting their sandwiches. šŸ”„ The vibe at Spinelli’s is equally incredible – a cozy neighborhood market with top-tier deli offerings and specialty goods. Whether you're grabbing lunch or stocking up on unique finds, this spot truly stands out. šŸ’¬ If you’re in Denver, do yourself a favor and try this sandwich. It’s a meal you won’t forget! šŸ™Œ #SpinellisMarket #DenverEats #RoastBeefSandwich #FoodieAdventures #LocalFavorites #DeliPerfection #NeighborhoodMarket #FoodieFinds #MustTryEats

The Classic Italian Sub was far and away the most mediocre sandwich I've eaten in Denver. The only memorable thing about the sandwich is how forgettable it is.

It feels absolutely wrong to call this a classic Italian sub when it's served on overly-bready ciabatta. The deli meats were lumped in the center of the roll, leaving about half of my bites without any meat or cheese. The capicola, ham, and salami were all bland and blended into a "generic meat melange" flavor. I asked for sharp provolone (and was charged extra), but I might as well have had a Kraft single on the sandwich for how tasteless it was.

Using whole-leaf lettuce on a sandwich is usually a plus, but doesn't make sense for an Italian sub. I barely tasted the roasted red peppers or the pickled onions (which included onion skins), and the oil/vinegar did nothing to balance the flavors of the sub.

If I was throwing a sandwich together at home with ingredients that had been sitting in my fridge for a couple weeks, this would have been a passable sandwich. If this was a pre-packaged sandwich at a gas station, I wouldn't have blinked twice.

Overall, this sandwich feels like someone asked Chat-GPT to assemble an Italian hoagie and didn't bother to double check that the end product matched their prompt. Check out Carmine Lonardo's in Lakewood or Primo's in Washington Virginia Vale if you're craving an actual Italian Hoagie.

The staff at Spinelli's was perfectly lovely and helpful. The service/staff deserve five stars, but the quality of the sandwich brings this down to three. We only stopped here for lunch, but the non-prepared food items looks lovely, if a bit pricey. Great selection of beverages and local coffees, and the produce looked fresh and well-stocked for a local market.

Staff/service: five stars Quality of packaged and non-prepared foods and produce: five stars "Classic"...

I have tried to like this places sandwiches so much. My family is always like ā€œLet’s go to Spinelli’s!ā€ I just sigh and go along with it. I’ve tried many of their sandwiches and none of them ā€œhit.ā€ Y’know? They are mostly mediocre and today mine was just plain not good. I think the sandwich was called the Gino’s hot & roast beef or something like that. The sandwich was Luke warm, the bread was awful, the peppers they add are flavorless and soggy. I have never enjoyed the peppers and they detract from the quality. the meat was pretty substantial but the quality was Arbys tier meat. I would have preferred Arbys over this sandwich because they would give you the proper amount of sauce. They offered like a 4oz ramekin of so so au jus which is maybe enough for 1/2 the sandwich. The worst part about the experience is that they charged me $14 for my sandwich before tax and tip. This doesn’t include a drink or chips. The prices don’t match the quality of the sandwich.

I gave this place 2 stars because it is a lovely deli with a wide selection. However, it will be a long long time before I decide to make a purchase here again. If you’re in the 1% and enjoy mediocre sandwiches then this...

Disrespectful and rude staff. I visited Spinelli's yesterday a few moments before they were closing. I am new to the area and did not realize that they closed at 7, as I was just driving by and wanted to grab something to eat on my way home. The girl at the deli counter (Becka) was impolite and appeared (based on her attitude) that she wanted to run me off, and it worked. Instead of politely letting me know that they were no longer serving customers a few minutes before closing (and that she would be happy to serve me the following day), she gave me an attitude and did not even have the courtesy of looking at me while doing it. There was also an older gentleman behind the deli counter and he just ignored the entire situation, even though he was aware of what was going on. The guy at the cash register seemed clueless when I asked for the managers (Cardi is the name I was given) contact information and available times that I could contact her. I will not be going back and it appears from other reviews, their rude staff is an ongoing...
