So I hear that Tamarac Square will be closing. All I can say is thank God! This next summer they will be leveling the place and the places that were decent moved to other locations like that great Indian restaurant India's. Lisa Lisa was also great (their clothes reminded me of Nathan Lane's clothes from the Birdcage)but I have not heard a status report on them and wish the mother daughter team well! They were so friendly! What I will NOT be missing is the restrooms in the Regency/Madstone theater space that smell like the sewer opened up there as well as actual raw sewage dropping and dripping into the theaters. The mall management has been given notice to this numerous times and have refused to do anything about it. They acted like the whole place would have to be leveled, which it will be next summer! Yay! I don't have a beef with the businesses that were in Tamarac at all but just the management for their incompetence and turning a blind eye to the raw sewage problem in the movie theater. Unfortunately it sounds like the same company might own what will replace Tamarac which will be a mix of residential and retail,hopefully (but not counting on it) they will treat their tenants...

Not the cheapest, but absolutely the most helpful when you need it. Whether you want help or not, they probably have what you need unless it's very specialized, and you can quickly get what you need, check it out and get out of their modestly-sized store before you even could find the right department at Lowe's...
Read moreCool shopping center. Whole Foods is a big one, with enough space to push a cart down the aisle. Kinda uncommon forthier stores in this area. Gym, lotsa places to eat....If you ever happen to need dog food, a wig and a manicure and you are in a time crunch, this is the place to go. Oh, and best of all, Elvis Cinema. Movies on the cheap gor the real movie fan, or if touee like me, rent a seat, ignore the movie and take a light snooze while your cohorts are...
