Treasures Outlet — Attraction in Denver

I've been to this store a couple different times and have had interactions with the same older woman each time. To preface my interactions I think it's important to note that I am very heavily tattooed. The first time I entered the store I was wearing long sleeves and jeans, she paid me no mind, I finished my shopping, and left with no problems. The second time I entered the store I was wearing shorts and a T shirt. This second time around the woman very closely followed me around the store and looked worried that I was going to be stealing something. At one point I attempted to open a metal toolbox and she jumped out from behind a blind corner as if to catch me in the act of stealing. She continued to be on my heels until I left. I completely understand that the way I choose to look is not everyone's cup of tea however felt profiled and incredibly uncomfortable. I'm hoping this interaction is a one-off situation and hope to validate others...

I stopped in for a look at some barrels i spotted from the road, but boy did i not know what I was in for. While the barrels were out of my price range i stopped anyways to check out a shop I've passed daily for years. I figured on a quick 15 or 20 minutes and move on. 2 hours later i was leaving with much more than i anticipated buying, wonderful stories and histories shared with me by the most friendly and personable owners. I searched every nook and cranny in the place finding something to catch my eye almost everywhere. I loved sharing my passion with folks who clearly take pride and care in providing customers with an amazing experience. I hope to get back soon and I hope others take a chance on this hidden gem as well, i cant imagine how you'd be...

Some neat things here. But being heavily tattooed I definitely got profiled by an elderly lady with sunglasses on. Asked to look at jewelry and she was very hesitant on letting me hold things and showing my girlfriend who was 10 feet away a bracket I wanted but in the end she or they lost out on a $200 bracelet sale due to her lack of customer service/awareness of how she comes off. Just not friendly and was very uncomfortable. The owner and the other lady were very friendly but that lady was not and asked me and only me for my id for my debit card $30 purchase and even the other lady coworker next to her had to ask her to not be rude to me.
