Washington Park — Attraction in Denver

We love going to this park in every season! Families and people of all ages enjoy this community favorite with its beautiful scenery and lush greenery and plant life. Wash Park is a beautiful, well-maintained public park that offers its visitors a variety of activities to partake or not partake in. One can enjoy from picnicking, tennis, basketball, dog walks and frisbee throwing (and geese chasing!😉) kids can get wiggles out on the playgrounds; summers offer paddle boating in the little lake; learning croquet; as well as enjoying the smooth, well- marked and maintained bike and rollerbladers’ path or alternative waking / jogging dirt and sidewalk paths that encircle the park. This park in Denver is awesome, especially as a mom with a small child. The wide sidewalks made it easy to walk side by side with friends, even while pushing strollers. The park had a great, lively atmosphere with lots of people and dogs, yet it still felt very safe and welcoming.

We didn’t personally use the porta potties, but there were plenty of them located throughout the park. The greenery was beautiful and clearly well-maintained, making for a lovely and peaceful walk.

Such a spacey and well designed Park. I really enjoyed spending the day here with great views and lots of room to explore. We played pokemon go here and this area is packed with pokestops and gyms. There Is a lot of open space for sports such as volleyball, badminton, and other outdoor activities. Lots of benches and seating areas throughout the park. Parking was good but does see limited in each area.( reason for 1 less star) they had party potties convienttly placed however not a lot of indoor restrooms.
