We went to Lucky Strike as a family — me, my wife, and our child — to enjoy a game of bowling together. We paid for the game, started playing, and placed a drink order. I ordered a beer tower (which is designed for two or three glasses — I selected two, the minimum allowed), my wife ordered a cocktail, and we also got a non-alcoholic drink for our child. The server checked our IDs to confirm we were over 21 and accepted the order. Everything was going smoothly — until about five minutes later, when a different server came back and said she couldn’t serve the drinks. She claimed that the beer tower is meant to be shared between two people, and if just one person drinks it, that’s supposedly a violation of their policy. Then she told us we’d have to cancel my wife’s cocktail if I wanted to keep the beer. I explained that this made no sense — I have every right to drink the beer myself, and my wife can have her cocktail. The server said, “Sorry, it doesn’t work that way.” I also pointed out that I’ve made the same exact order at this location before, multiple times, and never had an issue. Still, the server refused to accommodate us, so I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager arrived, she repeated the same absurd explanation. I asked her to show me the written policy stating that this kind of drink combination is not allowed. While waiting, I went on the official Lucky Strike website and found nothing about such a rule. In fact, their site promotes a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere where guests can kick back and enjoy their drinks. I showed this to the manager, and her response was: “We don’t care what the website says. If I said no — it’s no.” This was coming from the general manager, who should have been the one trying to de-escalate the situation and find a solution. Instead, we were met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and complete disregard for both guest service and their own stated values. And the worst part — everything was already paid for! The beer, the cocktail, and the bowling. We had only just started playing — we’d made maybe three or four throws. Our child had just gotten her drink and taken one sip when all of this happened. When I once again pointed out this was a violation of our rights as customers, the manager said: “If you don’t like it — you can leave.” I said I’d call the police to document the denial of service and inappropriate treatment. I made the call and waited calmly without causing any disturbance. While I was waiting, security came over and told me to leave the premises. I refused, saying I was waiting for the police. When the police arrived, we discussed the situation outside. Eventually, I was given a partial refund — but they did not refund the bowling game we barely got to play, the drink for our child, or offer any compensation for the distress and humiliation caused to my family. Later, I received a letter banning me from the venue for one year. On what basis? For respectfully standing up for my rights and not violating any rules? I also want to highlight the manager’s behavior. When I told her I was going to take a picture and file a complaint, she tried to hide her face, pushed me, and physically blocked the camera. I told the police about it — they didn’t respond. I am requesting the following: - The ban be lifted immediately - A full internal investigation and those responsible be held accountable - A formal public apology from the manager - A full refund for all charges - A compensation for emotional distress and the ruined family outing I’ve visited this location many times in the past, spent my money there, and always had a great experience — until now. What happened was a complete disgrace for a place that markets itself as a family-friendly entertainment venue.

Went there while I was traveling through Denver employees were kind and professional I saw a guy with a 20 page review asking for compensation don’t want to poke my nose in anyone’s business but I’m sure there is always 2 stories behind a scenario like that Anyway went there Sunday night and got the night strike deal by myself and I liked atmosphere although I was alone but enjoyed my time there and when I came to return the shoes the tall guy I assume was the manager told me you played 18 games 😂 I mean that’s why I waited until 8 so I can play as much as I can with 20 bucks very good deal I told him my fingers hurts other than that I would have stayed the whole night lol Why there is 4 stars Cause I had food before going there and just got the kids tender everything was In order one thing was wrong cause I asked for buffalo tender but they gave me regular one plus it was dry not the best tender I have ever had fires were good I would definitely come back here when I’m visiting Denver

We had a blast photographing this place—it’s such a fun spot for a night out. The mix of modern and cozy, the colorful lighting, and the sleek lanes make it a dream to shoot. The staff was super friendly and kept everything running smoothly, and the menu goes way beyond your typical bowling alley fare (definitely try the burgers!). Plus, the arcade adds an extra layer of fun.

I have never been to a place where the service was so bad and we've been to Dick’s Last Resort. Look I understand moving to the concept of being all online, but when you order food (pizza) and it takes almost an hr to get it. Or when you go to the bar to order a drink (alcohol or even water) and you're outright ignored several times is outrageous. The lane we were assigned to was covered in empty glasses and a pizza tray. We moved the items ourselves because we just wanted to have a good time. The servers that brought out the drinks, when I ordered them online, did so promptly but were very robotic and same when the pizza finally arrived. We searched for napkins than waited for a server to walk by again to ask for napkins but nothing. Another attempt at the bar served useless (with bartenders behind the counter). Finally finding napkins ourselves. We played 2 games and would have played more had service been even just a little bit better.

My question is why have servers when they want to clean or be around when they want to. Why have bartenders when they will only serve you when they feel ready to. Not saying those were the intentions but it was definitely perceived as that. Perception is reality. I know y'all just opened and will work through kinks to even things out but with service as is, it won't be long before your another run downed bowling alley that closes due to no business.

I write this to help you make things better because I can guarantee we are not the only family or people that have been treated in this manner from this business. I'll end it with a genuine scolding, like I tell my teenage boys when they mess up...DON'T BE...
