Before I start, I need to make it clear that this is my second favorite store to shop behind Trader Joe’s, and you will understand why this review was difficult to write. However today I had an extremely frustrating shopping experience at this Aldi location on Saturday, March 1st, 2025. The store was completely overwhelmed, and the lack of management and organization made it unbearable.
The lines were outrageously long—almost reaching the egg section, with the second line stretching all the way down the produce aisle. It was clear that the store was understaffed and struggling to handle the volume of customers. When I approached the store manager for assistance, I was met with complete indifference. I politely suggested that they call for more help at the registers, but instead of addressing the issue, the manager dismissively replied, "We’ll call when needed."
This response was incredibly unprofessional. As a customer, I was simply trying to help by pointing out the obvious problem, not telling him how to do his job. It was clear that he wasn’t even assessing the situation or taking initiative to improve the customer experience. The lack of urgency and poor leadership made an already stressful situation even worse.
This by far is my favorite Aldi location, but this experience was by far the worst. The store manager’s inability to manage the store effectively and his dismissive attitude toward me as customer was unacceptable. I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
I hope Aldi takes this feedback seriously and provides better training for their management team. This is still my 2nd best favorite 😜 store and this mishap won’t stop me from shopping here, it just needs to...
Read moreI tried aldi a little over one year ago. It took time to adjust to having to pay for bags and carts, and to "no name" groceries, but I am a loyal customer and have wonderful things to say about aldi. Despite what many may think, aldi is affordable without cutting corners. Gluten free and organic selections at half the price! Great coffee, tea, cereal, cheese, and baking supplies. Once in a while they will showcase a limited supply of goodies that I LOVE! Truffle potato chips, truffle mac and cheese, manchego cheese, blue moon inspired beer, organic lunch meet, take and bake bread, and a speciality line of pasta that I recently paid $7 a lb for at a local grocery store (cavatapi and armoniche). Definitely worth a try with an open mind (bring your bags and a quarter). Also, if you dont like your purchase they will refund you and replace the item!...
Read moreThe renovation has been fantastic. It's harder to find my usual items now as the store has been moved around, but it looks much more like a grocery store rather than a warehouse. Great prices and selections. They have a bit of everything from ethnic foods to gluten free, and then the standards. The prices are the best you will find hands down. The produce is so much better than it used to be! Very fresh looking and they have it all in one area. Very pleased with the changes. The lines can still get crazy. I wouldn't mind a fast lane for 10 items or less! That would help a lot. I feel terrible looking around when people have one and two items and my cart is way full for an entire week or two of meals, and often I will let people in front of me, but if I do that for every person I would never get to check out. Overall, fantastic changes...
