Pompano St Beach Access — Attraction in Destin

Most beautiful beach and place. It’s special to me. My favorite time is the winder around midnight, leaning up against the old pier the hurricane destoryed and listening to the ocean with my dog next to me. Can’t beat emerald green waters and white beaches. I hope these new laws have fixed the issue at the end of my street. Bc that is a mostly public beach, and they took it over and harrassed people over it. New laws passed, not sure why from all I read it was already handled at the highest level. They just didn’t enforce it. But amazing place when it’s not hostilely taken over. When you feel comfy to roam the beach in each direction it’s a slice of heaven here on the island. Set back by itself off the main roads and in what used to be a local community. Things have changed but that public beach access here is my escape, my grounding place of regaining my sanity and ridding anxieties. I’m excited to be able to do that again. Everyone should come visit, as much as I dislike crystal sands and how they’ve gone about their business they are still my neighbor and they do have amazing facilities and a great section of private beach in this heavenly place. Def go book with them and come enjoy my favorite place in the world. Shout out to our young but very smart and passionate Mayor. Keep up the great work. Be very careful in this area. It’s pretty racist. The experience I had on 5/28/22 was awful. My autistic son could not even go back and forth to the water because a family decided to play ball in front of us and over our head. Although there was a massive amount of space in the back. My child and I felt so unsafe. They acted innocent when my child eventually was assaulted with their frisbee. Let me tell you when some other child (not from my group) went back to their bucket the giant teen threw his hands down and stomped a foot as if that child was in his way. Beach is amazing, beach service for chairs and umbrellas are affordable. They are really accomodating if you would like to move chairs and umbrellas. Beach could do with more parking but hey not really a big deal. Great beach!! If you want to catch crustaceans go at night. They are out and its awesome for the kids to run around trying...
