The Shore at Crystal Beach Park — Attraction in Destin

*2024 Update: This is still my favorite place to access the beach in Destin —the shore at Crystal Beach. It is one of the most scenic and has the closest proximity from street to water. They have added new additional parking to the right of the beach access, for vehicles and LSV’s. The bathrooms are updated and clean. Great covered picnic area and stairs/ramp to the beach.

Thiefs at beach at night. Went for a walk with kids on the beach tonight July 13 2025. Left shoes near a dune like we have done for years. ( I know I shouldn't be so nieve and I have learned my lesson that the world isn't the same as it was when I was young) We walked the beach for about an hour came back and 3 pairs out of 5 were gone. Perfect place with ample trash cans, bathrooms, and outdoor showers to remove sand. Pavilions provide shade! Dreaded umbrella crazy people pushed back from shoreline so individuals and families can enjoy the beach. Parking is limited so come early or walk in. White sand is awesome and soft under the feet.
