We are from coming Texas to celebrate 4th of July. We ordered late dinner and we were really disappointed. The chef needs to learn how to cook. The chicken alfredo I cooked 3 days ago tasted way better. The food panda we ordered for our child also tasted even better because that’s what we picked up first before coming to Olive Garden since it was just down the street to OG and we still have 25 mins to pick it up.
This is the 2nd time I ate from olive garden this year because the food is bad but it changed my mind about it when this is my husband go to restaurant because it’s closer to him when he was deployed in Arizona And apparently the one he was going also tasted good too.
When we came back to Texas from Alabama not even a month ago, because he had training there and graduated. He drove with us going back Texas & convinced be to placed an order our way home and it was for an order for 7 people also around this 8 pm ish and had it to go. I dislike olive as I never like the food. But that changed my mind when all the food from the To go order was fresh because it was still very HOT! It was one of the best chicken and shrimp alfredo I had. They were seasoned perfectly & had good amount of both protein. It had a good amount of shrimp and My husband had the ck marsala and it was drowning in sauce. And most of my family ordered chicken Parmesan. Every one did enjoy the food as we continue driving back home. So now we decided to have the same dish we ordered a month ago and This is the worse Olive Garden I’ve been to and probably will not order anymore in the future as you are not consistent with your food.
Calamari was even cold and salty when we just picked it up. chicken Marsala pasta and shrimp alfredo was tasteless. No seasoning on shrimp. It looks like they just boil it and put it on top. How can you guys not be consistent with your dishes ? Just Horrible. Sucks to pay food you didn’t enjoy. 60$ worth of food goes to trash as we didn’t even finish it....

ONE TIME SHE APPROACHED (AFTER BEING FLAGGED DOWN) THE TABLE SEE OUR PLATES STACKED UP AND CUPS EMPTY, LOOKED SQUARE IN THE EYE AND SAID IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN GET YOU WHILE YOU WAIT. 🙄YEA, CAN YOU REMOVE THIS STACK OF PLATES, REFILL OUR CUPS AND CAN I GET ANOTHER SOUP (I GOT 20 MINUTES LATER AFTER OUR FOOD CANE OUT) She would walk past our table not making eye contact so we would have to flag her down to get refills and request bread (WHICH WE DIDN'T GET TIL OUR FOOD CAME ) as it was taking a long time for our dinner to come out. After giving us our food we again needed refills again and I look up to see our server walking out the front door to go smoke a cigarette. She never came back to see how the food was she also didn't grate any cheese over our food because they forgot to put a cheese grater on her tray. She never asked if we wanted cheese and look on face said don't ask. She seemed bothered by every question we asked even though we were only requesting basic services. Once we got the to go plates and cups she never returned. We couldn't cash out on the kiosk at the table for some reason and had to flag her down again. I finally spoke with the manager who said it must be Shelley. Lol so she's a problem others have complained about before. WATCHING HER SERVE OTHER TABLES IN THE MANNER BY WHICH WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SERVED AS WELL WAS DISGUSTING. I FEEL LIKE SHE ASSUMED WE WERE BAD TIPPERS, ALL THE OTHER TABLES WERE SERVED PROMPTLY, IN HER SLACKERISH KIND OF WAY!
WE ARRIVED AT 6:30 AND DIDN'T LEAVE TIL 8:20. THE ENTIRE TIME WE WE'RE NEVER OFFERED MORE SOUP/BREAD STICKS DURING OUR WAIT.
Food was good and...

Server, Miguel P, was not in the best of moods to begin with, he brought out our appetizers and breadsticks with no plates and only brought them out after dismissing our first request and me having to ask him for our plates a second time while he was rushing to take out order. A family came in afterwards and he was all giggles with them and joking around talking Spanish offering all kinds of options and ideas. We could've communicated to him in Spanish if that would've made a difference as we had some Spanish speakers in our group although his English was fine and we heard him tell the family he was from and where his parents were from. The rigatoni with mushroom sauce, five cheese ziti Al forno were delicious and tasted as they should. Ziti was Al dente although some pasta on the edges had no sauce. Chicken Marsala was awful. The chicken and pasta were cooked well but the sauce was something completely different and not at all what we were expecting. Apparently it's a popular dish but, not with and 2 in out party ordered it and left most of it. The Alfredo fettuccine with broccoli and chicken was good but the broccoli was overcooked. Fired ravioli was ok. Mango strawberry ice tea was good. There are a few other Olive Gardens in the area within 20-25 minutes. Id say skip this one if you can and give the others a try. He also forgot that we had mentioned that it was out daughters birthday and would've liked to have the usual singing for her and we didn't bother reminding him. Paula Sears is the GM and needs to clean this place up in more ways than one. Food is good, service is not. We did received a plate with food particles on it.
Update: reached out to Olive Garden guest relations and they’ve made it up to...
