My husband, my niece and I went to outback steakhouse on 27th of Oct. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to treat him to dinner. We always have high expectations from outback as this is one of our favorite place to go. This time round, I'm not completely happy with my food. My husband got himself fillet mignon 8oz with a side of mushrooms and baked potato while my niece got herself bone in steak with baked potato and fries while I got myself a center cut sirloin with mash potatoes and rice. I was starving as I was saving my tummy some space so I could enjoy my food but it was quite a disappointment for me. My husband and niece enjoyed their food but my steak was really well done when I requested mine to be medium well. I am very sure there's a different between that two. Like I said I was starving so I didn't say anything as I did not want the server to take the food away and I would lose my appetite to eat. So I continued eating till I can no longer eat. Meaning, I stopped half way through when I felt my tummy was full. There was still half of the steak left and my husband decided to eat as he doesn't want it to go wasted and he agreed that my steak was way too well done. The mash potatoes was great and so was the rice. While waiting for dessert to come, a guy wearing maroon work clothe came to us abd asked how was everything so I told him about my steak and to me his response was funny but not in good way and I quote -" well you or we can't always get it perfect (the steak)". I might've paraphrase or rephrase but something like that. So we were too stunned to speak of course and then after he walked away, my husband looked at me and said "why did he even bother asking then"?Why do you even bother to ask if that was your answer? We paid for our meal and not like it was free. So to receive that kind of answer was definitely baffling! Our server was whose name I forgot was good, gave a good reply when we told him and quite attentive. OSH will always be our favorite place but wish they had done...
Read moreOn the night of July, 17th, we called and had our party of 9 put on the call ahead list. When we arrived, we checked in & confirmed we were on list. We waited over an hour while everyone around us & that came in after us were seated, including other large parties. When we asked what was going on with our table for 9, the hostess claimed he did not see our name on list, even though he was the one we spoke toupon arrival, and the only people still waiting for table. Hostess then said we will clean a table off right now... 15 minutes later still no table cleaned off. We asked again, what happened to our table you were supposedly cleaning for us. He said it’s slmost ready. When we got up to look at table, he was trying to fit 9 people at a 6 person table. We said you have a 15 person table along the wall that will fit us all comfortably, why are you trying to cram us in a 6 person table. He replied, I can clean a larger table off on the other side. He left to go clean table. Another 15 minutes went by & still have not been seated. He returns to hostess stand and starts talking with two other hostess’s that had not acknowledged us. They stood their talking & still did not come over to seat us. At that point, we said what happened to our table!!?? We told them we are leaving to go elsewhere since we waited over an hour and 30 minutes for them to go clean two tables that they never seated us for. We had family in town from Canada and were extremely disappointed. Worst Outback...
Read moreI must say that I'm more of a Longhorn fan. We were in town and this Outback was right next to our hotel. We are here Saturday night and out of the 3 times I've been to Outback, this was the worse quality of food ever for me. My Wife originally ordered the prime rib, loaded baked potato, and broccoli. I ordered the 6 oz filet Mignon with seasoned rice and broccoli. We both had sweet tea. The tea had little to no sugar in it, and no sweetener on the table. Then the waitweer Kurt came back and told us they were out of prime rib, and my Wife ordered the ribeye. We get our food, and the steak I ordered was overly dry, and I've had it cooked this way at other places, and it's never been like this. My broccoli was almost like baby food it was so soft, and my seasoned rice was very clumpy. My Wife's loaded baked potato she liked, but the her steak was very fatty, and her broccoli was very hard. It's seems they couldn't get that sweet spot where it's not too hard, and not too soft. I tried to finish my food, but I just covered it up, and was ready to go. I don't think I will ever visit an Outback again after that experience. The waiter was nice, the bread was good, and my Wife liked her loaded potato, everything else really should have been returned. I spent $62.02, and it was definitely...
