This is a revised version of my previous post. I was very emotional and rushed and should have waited until I had settled down before posting anything in a review. My sincere apologies to the owners...it was not their fault that we were in a hurry. Anyway, I had been trying to get to this store during my whole trip because of the great advertisements I had seen in the tourist brochures. However, when trying to squeeze in as many activities as you can during a first time visit, it makes it difficult to get to everything, especially when the store closed at 5 pm each day. The owners had more mask restrictions than any other place we'd been, which was fine because we were already taking precautions by wearing masks before we ever got to the store (we have been vaccinated, but still take precautions for the safety of others). I was SO excited to see all their beautiful pieces that I had already spent alot of time reviewing on their extensive website. However, my glasses were fogging up and I couldn't see. So I pulled my mask down just slightly so I could look at the jewelry and was asked to pull my mask back up. I felt we were doing more than our part pertaining to COVID since 99% of the people we've seen here don't bother to wear a mask at all. I did what I was asked and also did my best to see the pieces I was interested in through my fogged glasses. The pricing was a little higher than expected, but I couldn't really get to the point of attempting negotiations because we just didn't have enough time and I couldn't see well enough to keep looking. Overall, I think they have an excellent website that showcases their offerings and they have some beautiful, unique pieces. I love turtles and would have loved to have talked pricing further on a specific piece, but we just didn't have the time. I was disappointed because I really wanted a nice piece of jewelry to commemorate our 25th anniversary. Maybe we can do this next time if we're able to come back. Thanks for having the unique kind of jewelry that people can purchase and take home a little piece...
Read moreHi Priscilla and Bob! It's Roger and Jessi from Ohio, we hope you remember us from last week.
Let's get a few things clear straight away - Priscilla and Bob take the current Covid crisis very seriously. There are a limit of 2 customers in the store at a time, you have to take a mask, and they will take your temperature when you enter. I've never seen a retail shop do that, and it was good to see.
What a cute place. They have everything from a keepsake reminder of your vacation up to very fine jewelry. They have some fantastic pieces that I've never seen anywhere.
We stopped in to get Jessi a memento of the trip. She was able to pick out this very beautiful dolphin pendant and matching earrings. Priscilla took great care of us, and told us the matching bracelet was scheduled to arrive the next day. The next we went back, she had it held for us, and we picked that up too!
Good jewelry costs money, and just know these folks carry quality, not cheap stuff. I won't disclose what we paid, but we felt it was well worth it. Quality pieces with quality stones, great service, and supporting a small business which we always are willing to pay a little more to do.
Check this place out if you are in the area and are looking for something a little unique or to keep as a reminder of...
Read moreEmerald Lady is the best of the best!!!! My fiancé and I went to 9 different jewelry stores in the Pensacola & Destin area to hunt for the right place to create our engagement ring, and after a few minutes of talking with Bob we both knew this was the one! We designed a custom engagement ring from a photo of a similar ring that I loved, using my grandmother’s diamond and Bob helped us make it even better than we envisioned!!!! He really knows his stuff and has excellent attention to detail. He gives you his opinion without being pushy, which from our experience looking for rings in several stores is a very fine line! He educated us on different types of diamonds, gold, prongs, and what would structurally make the most sense for the ring and answered all of our questions along the way. He’s also been in the business for decades so he has connections with major jewelry companies, which made making our custom ring a breeze! The store is run just by him and his wife Priscilla, and in addition to being knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy they are also such sweet people that truly care about your experience. If you are looking for incredible jewelry and amazing customer service this is where to go hands down!! Thank you again Bob and Priscilla for helping us create the ring of...
