I specifically ordered my sides as 2 rice and 1 vegetables, I put 0 in for macaroni salad as I am allergic and cannot eat the macaroni salad or have it touching my other food. Of coarse when I get to my destination the order is wrong. It has Mac salad touching my chicken and rice. When I called employee Manwell or Manuel could be spelled wrong. Claimed he was the manager but couldn't do anything to fix the problem. When I asked for corporate number. He hung up on me. When I called right back the female who gave me my order answered the phone and said "he the shift leader doesn't speak any english". Smh I asked her for the corporate number then also since there's nobody there who could handle the situation. As I explained I ordered on line for pickup because of a time crunch and I couldn't come back to the restaurant. I also explained I have allergies and can't eat the plate as it is. First time for lunch at this place of business (not a restaurant), because the food I was served must have been cooked (three weeks ago). The Chicken Katsu looked like old fried skins. I cannot understand the mindset of a person who prepares a customer’s (food) order with no pride in their job or pride in the company that hired them. It is inexcusable to apply for a position with a company of your choosing, accept that position and then become an employee that would not appreciate your job but choose to destroy the reputation of the company that gave you an opportunity. Read moreI'm not sure why Ono isn't flexible at all, when trying to customize your order. It's very frustrating when ordering from them. It's like ordering from your mother. They tell you no you can't order that so much, it's almost like your getting scolded. For example, I like Kalua pork but the representative said I can't get 2 orders of the pork on the same plate, even when ordering the 2 meat combo plate. For some unknown reason the meats have to be different, why is that? Also, you can only order kalua pork when the dinning room is open, not evening hours in the drive through. My daughter ordered the Hawaiian BBQ beef, which comes with 2 scoops of rice and 1scoop of Macaroni salad. She asked to remove 1 scoop of rice, explaining the 1 would be plenty for her.
