Esteban's Place Beach Management — Attraction in Doral

This is the place at 5225 Collins Ave. I asked for a chair and umbrella. The manager with a beard and long dark hair told me "be patient, and the guy over there will help you!" I thought to myself, I must have asked in a bad tone, because that is a strange way to talk to your customer. I noticed he was surfing the internet on his phone. A minute later another nice lady politely asked for a chair and he had the same rude answer. After a while the gentleman came by and i asked him for a chair and umbrella, when he told me the price, I indicated that it was included for condo owners. He told me the chair was and the umbrella was not and i had to pay for it. So i took the chair and called the condo association to find out that indeed it the umbrella was included. I told him that and he finally went to get an umbrella. I guess he was hoping to con me out of $15 per day. Despite this, they put a jar on the counter that says "we work for tips" I think this crew needs to be trained and understand that people tip when you get good and...

The female attendant along with her colleagues refused to rent their equipment to my family. Rather than simply stating that they did not wish to serve us and have the right to refuse, they kept asking that we return in an hour. Their first excuse was some oncoming rain. It never rained. Then they said they could tell we were drinking. Two people in a group of seven has a beer. On our third attempt and after seeing them rent their jet skis out multiple times they take a sign out and say they have the right to refuse service. We are a Hispanic group of black and brown people. First time being profiled like this by a company in Miami. Absolute worst experience. Way to ruin my friend's birthday. We would've gone somewhere else has they pulled their little sign out the first time we asked. Instead they wasted our time. While staying at the cavalier in Miami Beach we get 2 vouchers for seating at Estebans place on the beach. It’s busy today, 2/13/21, I asked to sit closer to the beach and was told as soon as someone left they’ll move us up. A gust behind me must’ve tipped the guys or something because he got sat right in front and as I sit here I see more and more people get sat in front of us. They definitely don’t give cavalier guests any good seating. Be prepared to tip them well beyond the 20+ $ umbrella rental fee and the 25% I left that I wish I didn’t now.
