DO NOT STAY HERE! I should have read reviews, and I usually do, but this was a last minute trip and I didn’t even think about it. I have always been told “you get what you pay for”, and this is a perfect example of that phrase. The naivety on my part, and the misleading photos on every site that this facility had on the internet lead me to believe this was a clean, and up to date facility.
Service Let’s start with the service. The 3 different people that I dealt with were great. They were young and unfortunately the facility that they work for is not a great one, and they have to deal with the fallout of the run down facility. Which I am not sure that they cared. I think they are so used to the complaints they are numb to it and didn’t have much to say. The shuttle from the Miami airport was horrendous and we sat there for almost 2 hours because they kept stopping at the first stop and then it would be full. Instead of “frog” jumping and going to alternating they just kept picking up from the first stop. The information we were given was to wait at gate 15 or 7. We were at 15 at first. After the second time they were “full” we walked to gate 7. We finally got one the shuttle to the hotel.
Rooms The pictures on the website is false advertising. They might have looked that way when they first opened, but they don’t now. Most definitely the worse room I have EVER stayed in. I have been in some cheaper rooms that were cleaner, had wash rags, didn’t have stains on the bedding and the floor was actually swept and mopped. I never took off my socks to walk around in and I am 100% thankful for that. They are now unsalvageable . They were brand new also. Anyway I digress. The faucet fixures in the bathroom for both the sink and the shower were loose. There was black mold in the caulking around the shower and the shower head looked like it has never been cleaned. There were NO wash rags, NO Kleenex, there was not even a pamphlet saying what restaurants were close. Grounds and other things. The outside door to the room you couldn’t get in without putting your shoulder into it. The handles stuck. The phone did not work so I had to walk up to the front desk and ask for a wake-up call to only be told “they don’t do that”. SO the room phone not only didn’t work and the buttons were completely gone. I am not sure why it was even in the room. No dial tone it was dead. Only 50% of the electric outlets worked and only a couple of the USB ports were in working condition.
Furniture The bottom part of the entertainment bureau was completely gone, chipped off. The desk chair I fell out of twice trying to move from the desk. The wheels locked up and was so flimsy it should be in the trash.
Bedding. There were clean linens on the beds. I did ask for an additional pillow and there were none (I figured). There were also several cats that were in the lobby and I know this is a health issue due to people being allergic.
In closing I will never stay at this hotel again and I use “hotel” losely. It should actually be a motel. This “hotel” was busy and from taking to some of the people on the shuttle going to the port they felt mislead also. The consensus again was they will never stay at this...

One-Star Review for Quality Inn Miami Airport – Doral
⭐️
My stay at the Quality Inn Miami Airport was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I booked, the customer service was appalling, and the property itself was a complete disaster.
The issues began before I even arrived. I called the front desk to inform them I’d be bringing my two service dogs. Instead of understanding and complying with the ADA, the front desk attendant told me their “no pets” policy applied to my service animals as well. I explained that service animals are not considered pets and tried to educate him on the law, which allows service animals regardless of pet policies. Rather than listening, he demanded licenses, certificates, and vests for the dogs—all of which are illegal requirements under the ADA.
I had to involve the Agoda booking service I used, who graciously contacted the hotel and explained the law to them. Eventually, after much back and forth, the property reluctantly agreed to let me check in with my dogs, no questions asked. However, this was not the case when I arrived.
When I checked in, I encountered the same rude staff member I had spoken to on the phone. He demanded I provide the doctor’s letter I had previously mentioned—despite being told by Agoda that no documentation was required. I had to dig through my laptop to retrieve the letter just to appease him, all while he continued to be condescending and dismissive.
Adding to the absurdity, I noticed several cats roaming freely inside and outside the property, including one lounging right in the lobby. I pointed this out to him and asked why they had an issue with my service dogs if they were clearly fine with cats wandering around. His response? He laughed and sarcastically said, “You know what? You’re right. There are cats here. You can have the dogs.” The whole exchange was bizarre, unprofessional, and deeply uncomfortable.
Beyond the horrendous service, the hotel itself was disgusting. The room felt more like a rundown motel than anything remotely worth the money I paid. The pillows were so lumpy they were unusable, the bathroom was filthy, and the entire property felt gross and poorly maintained. The cats roaming around only added to the sense of unsanitary conditions.
This experience was humiliating, stressful, and downright disappointing. Between the ADA violations, rude staff, and deplorable state of the property, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay...

Went to check in at their front desk and the lady informed me that breakfast was from 7:30-9:30am, gave me the room key card, then told me how to find it. We left the Inn after checking into our room!
When we returned late that night we noticed that there wasn’t any hot water, phone wasn’t working, and the office chair only had three wheels not four as it should.
Went down first thing in the morning reported it to the man working the front desk, who advised that maintenance will fix everything today. Seeing that I reported it we went on in hope that it will be done shortly.
So we then went to breakfast, was awful. The waffle batter was watered down, the syrup was watered down, lacked flavor, and there wasn’t any verity whatsoever. They literally only had white bread, plain oats, red apples, scramble eggs and waffles. The only thing that had verity was the yogurts. We could even eat the food so we left the Inn again.
When we returned later that night none of the issues with the room was fixed, to make things worse, when you open the room door the man hole cap in the wall falls off from the wind. There wasn’t any toilet paper in the room as well.
Went back down and the same man was at the front desk with another man who tried to change our room, I told him let me check the room first before I change, only to find that there wasn’t still no hot water and this room had roaches. I returned the key and told him that I would take cold water over roaches any day.
He gave me some toilet paper, which was the one thing they could do, as the couldn’t do anything about the rest.
I then asked for the packages I had delivered only to be told I would have to pay $10 per package, which was not made known upon arrival. At this point I was ready to leave, I asked for the manager, and was told she wasn’t there I have to come back in the morning… by this point I was disgusted.
Came down first thing I the morning the same man was there, no manager and no supervisor. He then gave me the packages in a hurried manner. By this point I had have enough, I packed and checked out right away.
I would not recommend the Inn to any who values hospitality and good customer service. Needless to say never go based on image or ratings, your standards are different...
