TuTu Tufting — Attraction in Doraville

Me and my husband booked the 20x20 rug package. The final product was great and very thick padding and material. However the experience itself was not great. They did not give any tips or actual tutorial on how to tuft. They just show you once then give you the gun. I am new to it so I struggled in the beginning. The ladies in charge kept sternly telling me “stop” and “no” without an explanation. I had to keep asking questions because there were a lot of things they never told us such as the lines need to be close together, etc. After 3 hours of doing mine, they also told me my threads were too loose and I would either have to go over the entire thing again or pay an extra $20 on top of the $100 for them to finish. I don’t know why they didn’t tell me in the beginning before I finished the whole thing but it was pretty frustrating. Also be prepared to use the gun for 3+ hours. It was pretty labor intensive for me personally and the guns are not exactly light, so it can start feeling tedious after a couple hours. It is a good one time experience to try but I did not like how they led the class because the point of the class is to teach you before you start on your project, not continually correct you as you make mistakes and furthermore use a rude tone. I recently had an amazing experience at Tu Tu Tufting, and I can't recommend it enough! I went there on a date, and we decided to create the adorable drip bear piggy bank together. It was such a fun and unique activity that really brought us closer. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a creative outing.

Tutu Tufting provided an exceptional experience. The customer service was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Keira, our host, was absolutely fantastic - she was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire process. I brought my family along, including my two children who are both under the age of 10. We opted for the pour painting bears activity, and it turned out to be a hit with the kids. They had a blast, and surprisingly, the entire experience felt like it flew by in just 10 minutes, even though it actually took about an hour. While the cost was a bit high, it was definitely worth every penny. Upon picking up our creations, we discovered that the bears were actually piggy banks, which was a pleasant surprise.
