Bowl was put together sloppy. Wondered where the egg went, it was at the bottom of the bowl. So I walked in 10 minutes before they're closing and they told me that they're closing in 5 minutes and they would prefer me not to order. I'm sorry but I just drove a good ways to each real Ramen and go to the H Mart next door. So I had some little frogs that I was selling to a guy who is going to be meeting me at H Mart and I wasn't thinking and I brought them inside and the manager just flipped out. Okay I understand I made a mistake however you don't need to flip out on me and act angry and aggressive towards me. Relax man. I said "oh my god" with his attitude and he just wanted to mock me by saying it back. I walked outside real quick and the guy showed up to get the frogs and I went inside and ate. After I was done I tried to talk to the manager and help him understand that yes I know I made a mistake and apologized but please act professionally towards me and to other customers even if they make mistakes. He wanted to say well I don't have to treat you any differently. I said actually you kind of do because I have mental health issues and under the Americans with Disabilities Act I'm entitled to accommodations and I'm just asking you to be a kind individual and to not cause me to have an anxiety attack and to not be angry and aggressive towards me. He told me that I should tell him about my mental health issues and any customer in the future should disclose their mental health issues when they come. He told me you should have known better you have no common sense. I told him I was going to go get some paperwork to show him and he locked me out of the place then opened the door so I could show him the paperwork which he didn't care about. So I called the police to get a report and they were apparently already called by the restaurant. So because I was trying to help the manager understand that I have mental health issues and asking for disability accommodations they decided to ban me from every eating there and actually put a trespass order on me. Such terrible customer service. Yes I understand it was foolish of me to bring the animals in there but I haven't had any other restaurants have any issues with it. Also if you're not closed don't try to turn people away. The guy who was getting the frogs from me was needing to go to the bathroom really bad and the guy inside the restaurant told him no. This guy was...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlenty of Japanese and ramen restaurants in town now so there is no need to eat while angry. What do I mean? Well you know.... bad service. The all-star host and hostess staff that think your there to eat for free, and looks at you like your the cause of their (I have a reason for saying this) foot fungus problem.
So we are a party of 6 and that called in for a reservation at 6:00pm. We got there at 6:00pm on the dot and they said we had to wait for a table (we see 2 empty tables that could accommodate 6 people so I am thinking one of these spacious tables is ours, but not in our case). So about 10 minutes into the wait, and a older guy comes over and says, (in a very derogatory manner with a rude tone of voice) don't stand here, go over there! I am thinking ok... What the ** just happened?!! (the words don't sound bad but add the facial expression, finger pointing and the tone of voice and it's bad) We are not in the way of the staff why are we told to move from one part of the waiting area to another?(I have over 5 years of restaurant management experience and decent IQ, so this is not a misunderstanding where we are in the wrong and we don't realize it type of situation).
I just realized I am now hungry and that my review is quite long. So I will wrap it up. Hostess lady also rude and unapologetic. Told by rude lady must remove shoes since we are sitting at a tatami type a deal table. My son didn't want to but later rude lady came by for notary inspection and my son did not pass so was told again to remove shoes.
(FOOT FUNGUS)! Finally. I was wearing flip flops and no socks. So how many nasty feet am I forced to share this dirty floor with? I don't know but now I am using anti fungal foot cream to treat the itch that I got for FREE at this spectacular establishment.
Their lack of attention to health code regulation at the Grand Opening month, shows what kind of service and lack of cleanliness there is to come for their future of this restaurant.
No arigato, I will pass on the chance for the FREE diarrhea for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely write a negative review, but the service at this restaurant was simply terrible. Despite having visited a few times before and finding the food is okay, the consistently poor service has been a letdown. Unfortunately, my visit yesterday was the worst experience yet.
We ordered donkotsu ramen, tempura set, chasudon, and yakisoba. they brought out the yakisoba last, which took nearly 30 minutes since we started our meal. This was already a bad start.
But the main issue was with the yakisoba itself. The noodles were extremely undercooked, making them tough and hard to chew. When I mentioned this to the server, her unhelpful attitude didn't help. She took my dish to the chef, who said the noodles were supposed to be that way because of how they cook them due to the hot plate cooking method. They asked if I wanted a new dish or to reheat it. I asked for a new dish. After waiting about 15 minutes, they brought a new one with better noodles and a different texture. We left with the whole yakisoba dish untouched on the table.
What frustrated me even more was when I asked if I could cancel the dish due to its consistent poor quality. The server declined, leaving me feeling helpless. Who would want to eat the same disappointing dish repeatedly?
I've NEVER skipped giving a tip in my life, but the server's attitude and the way she talked left me with no choice. Additionally, she never checked on us after we received the new dish if it's okay, and she didn't refill our water before we got the new dish either. I tasted the food, left the dish untouched, and left without tipping. As I was leaving, I tried discussing the issue with her, but she mumbled without any apology.
It's clear that the management needs to train their staff better. The service has consistently been poor and slow. I've tried yakisoba in various places, both in Atlanta and Japan, and never encountered such an explanation for...
