Had to try this place since I seen the line always is long. I've tried this place 3 times so far.
The wait time for the food is usually 10-15 minutes on average because they make your food fresh. Which I appreciate fresh food. But this isn't the place to stop by if you're running low on time. Make at least 15-20 minutes on a not so busy weekday during the day and on 30-35 minutes on a busy weekend day to stop by and get an Oh Kay Dog etc. I tried their potato dog with hot melted mozzarella cheese in the middle ans potato and rice flour mixture on the outside, and I tried their regular mozza dog with the rice flour mixture on the outside and hot melted mozzarella cheese on the inside. Both are good. But I prefer the regular mozza dog the most.
I've tried them both with the traditional sugar on the outside and also without and also with the parmesan cheese and garlic seasonings. They also have honey butter powder seasoning. It's all good. Not something you eat if you're trying to watch calories or if you are gluten intolerant. So be aware of this. It's called Korean Soul food. It's definitely guilty pleasure food that I like to get on the occasion when I stop through to shop at H Mart in the Doraville area. The people who work there are also nice. The customer service is good. Make sure to hold onto your receipt and number ticket so you'll know when the sign shows your number/hear them call...
Read moreOne if the very few places I want to give 5 stars, but can't. The corn dogs are extremely delicious and the sauces compliment then very well. I've never had to wait a long time for them either. Cashiers are always incredibly nice and every time I go to HMart for lunch I come here. Never dissapoints and always consistently good.
So why the 4 stars then? Like other people have posted, their times are inconsistent. I've been here at 10am before and the owners weren't even there yet. A place should open at the time posted or people need to post a more accurate time. Also, while there are people that enjoy mukbang videos, they make me lose my appetite. I can't stand the sound of people smacking their lips together or how messy some of the people making these videos are (as in stuffing half of a giant corndog in their mouth with food spilling and dripping out or missing their mouth altogether and having food all over it). They have these videos playing above their store and it's loud enough to where the outside noise doesn't drown it out so I can choose to not look but I still have to hear it. Please atleast mute the videos for those that...
Read moreThis is such a unique experience. Honestly, I didnt like the corn dog myself but that doesnt mean it isnt a great experience. The corn dogs are dipped in a sweet batter covered in panko breading making it extra crispy and they come in a variety of flavors including: cheese and sausage (cheese on top and sausage on bottom), rice cake stuffed, cheese stuffed, and one with squid ink in the batter. The staff was extremely helpful and patient and made up my cheese and sausage dog proper Korean style i.e. covered in sugar, ketchup, and cheese mustard. I didnt like it but that doesnt mean it isnt a good product or a fun experience it just wasnt geared to my tastes (too sweet and tasted like a funnel cake but I know people who would love that). Next time, I try it will have it with out the sugar but it was great fun trying it. They also have a very nice...
